1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: polymer clay foil decoration with tutorial on: May 31, 2011 08:53:31 AM
Love the fish design! ( I get fishy at my job). Also, great idea of how to make the foil decoration last.

Have you thought about coloring the fish?

Thanks for sharing tutorial Maxxev. Cheesy
2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Bones swap Round 4 on: March 04, 2011 09:14:09 AM
I would looooove to participate in this swap in the summer.  This could possibly be my first swap.  I love Bones and I'm already thinking of possible projects! I'm also patiently waiting for Bones and Booth to "get together".....and not in a dream/coma state like in the past. Wink
3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Roller Derby Helmet Covers on: February 10, 2011 12:32:22 PM
Cheesy Love your two toned JAMMER STAR!  I've always wanted to attempt to make helmet panties, but our ref bought us two pairs as a gift. A skater's mom used one of the bought panties as a pattern, but it came out a little small and didn't cover all helmets very well.  Other than that, they looked snazzy.

But..... yours is very SNAZZY!

What is the name of the menew? Obviously, s/he likes helmet panties too.
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: T-shirts for my brother on: January 13, 2011 06:55:57 AM
The shirts came out great with clean and crisp lines!  Deadmau5 T-shirt looks exactly like CD cover.

Did you use freezer paper stencil method or did you cut out iron-on sheets? I usually use the freezer paper stencil method.

I saw Deadmau5 at VooDoo Fest and he was phenomenal; I danced my a$$ off! Cheesy
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Blue Leaves Canvas Bag on: July 01, 2010 10:12:49 AM
With the straps tied like you have, you can change out the strap if you need too or if you want to use another color. Love the material pattern and colors. I also think it's really smart to use tapestry material; it prolongs the life of the bag!
6  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Clever watering can, includes recycling! on: June 15, 2010 10:36:35 AM
Brillant Upcycling! The leaf/vine design is great also. I'm definitely making one. Thanks for sharing.
7  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: The $5 Shamrock Dress on: June 11, 2010 10:26:25 AM
What a "Lucky" little girl to have a dress like this! Too cute... I love the finish product from only $5. I can't help you with feedback about zippers  Embarrassed; I haven't done one yet. If I would change anything, I would perhaps use a different shade of green ribbon for the tie belt.
8  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: Toe guards for roller skates on: September 18, 2009 10:28:12 PM
I added homemade leather toe guards to my skates too.  But, I didn't sew anything. I took a rectangle piece of leather and I simply cut one large hole for toe stop bolt-hole and 4 to 6 little holes to put my laces through. No sewing! Wink

[Check picture on profile, b/c this is my first post and I'm not allowed to post.)

You can kinda see where I put the laces through the leather. It's under all the duct-tape.

If you're wondering about the brand of skates....  The boot and plates are 18 years old, but Labeda skates do make derby skates these days.  I've been doing derby for about a year, but I was a rink rat when I was younger.
