1  Handcarved Letterboxing Stamps in Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects by yarn_rn on: June 09, 2009 09:42:12 AM
Long time lurker without an account here on Craftster, but after discovering this little corner of stampers, I had to make myself official.  There are such excellent carves around here.

I've been letterboxing for a long time, but only in the past year or so have I started carving stamps to place in new letterboxes.

Problem is, I hate using store-bought stamps for boxes, so I have to carve my own.  And if I'm carving my own stamp, I figure I ought to just go ahead and make my own logbook and stamp bag as well.  So the process takes longer than I think it will.

I figure if I finish one every three months or so, I'm doing all right.

The name of the boxes where these stamps and logs have been planted has been removed.  So if you want to see them in person, you'll have to start hunting.

The Frog box stamp, stamp bag, and logbook (sorry for the blurry):

I forgot to take pictures of the stamps of these next two boxes before they went out in the wild, so all I have are pictures of the finished stamp images.

Hope you enjoy.
