1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Lily the Ladybird on: February 27, 2017 03:41:10 AM

I've been working several days on this pattern and finally it's finished...

I want to introduce you to Lily

She is a lovely ladybird and she is able to store in her wings all of our crafty materials.

Hope you like her!
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Sheep Coaster on: February 12, 2017 10:38:02 AM
Last night, I finished a sheep that also happens to be a coaster... Hope you like her!

3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Two christmas Amigurumis on: December 06, 2016 12:10:53 PM
This year I decided to use my new skills on crochet and amigurumi to create christmas decorations.

First I made a Santa Claus...
(The beard was my favourite part to knit)

And a few days ago I finished a Christmas Minion!

Hope you like them  Smiley
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Twisted Top on: November 07, 2016 12:28:48 AM
Today I finally had the time to take some pictures of a top I made in summer.

It's a pattern I have wanted to make since the first day I started sewing.

The upper pieces of the top, cross at the centre and enhance the female silouhette... or at least mine, lol

Hope you like it as much as I do!  Kiss
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / My first bikini on: September 22, 2016 12:07:23 AM

I've been sewing for a few years now, but there was something I hadn't tried before. Sewing swimwear!

I'm a great fan of knits so I don't know why I was so afraid to make a bikini.

It's really easy and I love how little fabric you need to make them.

Well, here are the pictures, hope you like it:

6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Needle Book on: August 17, 2016 10:45:06 AM
This is my new Needle book

It's a simple rectangle made with popcorn stitches and folded in half.

For the inside I made two spools of thread to keep my sewing needles tidy.

Hope you like it. Smiley
7  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Kawaii Jellyfish on: August 02, 2016 03:14:03 PM

Today I want to show you my last amigurumi creation.

It's something between a Jellyfish and a dessert.

If the jellyfish is placed over an amigurumi cone, it looks like an Ice cream with colourful toppings Cheesy I've already tried it but forgot to take pictures of it Cry

I hope you like it.  Grin Kisses and Hugs from the Canary Islands, Spain
8  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Elegant Baby Seal on: July 21, 2016 02:46:53 PM

I usually write in the 'Clothing' community, but recently I've discovered my love for crochet and Amigurumi.

I can stay hours 'watching' TV and knitting without noticing how time passes away.

I have made several things of crochet and amigurumi that I gave out as gifts, but this one I'm keeping for my sewing room.

It's a baby seal with a top hat and a black tie... I think he looks so funny all dressed up. Lol

Thanks for your time
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Peplum and bows on: April 03, 2016 01:00:49 AM

This is the last piece of clothing I've made to increase my wardrobe.  Cheesy

It's a top made out of a medium weight Ponte Roma.

For the front I decided to slice the pattern at the waist and then I added a belt made by pleating the fabric to make it look like small bows.

For the back I decided to make a cascade peplum.

And that's all.  Cheesy Thanks for reading!
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Gathered top on: February 09, 2016 05:25:04 AM

This is my last top, I keep making things in stretch fabric, it's so comfy  Cheesy

The side seams are gathered, and stabilized with clear elastic.

I really think gathered tops give a 'slimmer look', do you agree?

I decided to gather a central panel of the sleeves too. It gives a nice touch, although it's hard to see on the dressform.

And that's all!. A huge hug from the Canary Islands, Spain
