5  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / doing "market research" for Etsy, maybe you guys will know on: September 24, 2009 01:49:16 PM
So my husband has a 2700 garnishment on his paycheck because his mother defaulted on a credit card he cosigned on for her.

Anyways, the reason I am here is we are struggling so bad that I in his words need to figure this out and the only thing that I can think of is to sell my stuff on etsy.

So my question is really...

Do those of you that sell candles, soap, bedding and jewelry do very well on the market?

These are the things that I have on hand and can list as soon as i set everything up and hope to expand from there.

any and all comments are appreciated, i don't want to go into this thinking that is gonna work out and be further from where i am now.

thanks to all of you in advance.

8  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Questions About Hairstyles! on: August 05, 2009 05:33:32 PM
I too am a stylist by profession.

from what I understand if you want to remove the pink you are going to have to either have a "soap cap" done or use a bleach to relighten it.which is damaging on pre-lightened hair. as color does not lift color.

a soap cap is when you mix equal parts bleach+claifing shampoo+developer(1 oz. of each). by doing this you are breaking up your pigment molocules which will fragment and shampoo out of the hair. I would recomend having some one do this for you to make sure that you dont miss any spots. after that wait a day and apply a conditioning treatment to your hair to help it recover.

hope that this helps.
