Cute, cute and cute! I can't decide which one of them I like most!
132  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Pretty Dress for my Nieces on: March 22, 2009 11:05:58 AM
Well, I would wear it!  Grin I like the fabric (how cute) and the pattern!
133  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Re: Outer Space Shopping Bag on: March 21, 2009 02:30:40 PM
It's great! I like the lil' alien, it's so cute! Would be a great thing to make for a small boy, too. Too bad I'm not very good with needles...
134  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Lots of Scrabble Pendants on: March 20, 2009 01:55:20 PM
Aren't they cute!  Grin I'm sorry I'm such a craft newbie but what technique did you use?

Wow, I can't believe it's your first project! Well done!
136  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Starghan and Spiderman Afghan! on: March 19, 2009 07:53:38 AM
They're amazing! I love the starghan and its bright colors... But If I were a 8-year-old boy, I would beg to have the spiderman one. They're both great ideas of gifts!
137  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Very first crochet project: a pink scarf! on: March 19, 2009 03:12:53 AM
I used this yarn, which is a mix of wool, acrylic and polyamid + a nr 3 crochet. The color is called "Cyclamen".

The pattern is indeed a shell pattern but the shells are made of only three trebles (most patterns I've seen show 5 trebles per shell)

please post pattern. it's great and I like the color too.

I'm not really acquainted with English crochet terms (mother tongue is French) but I'll see what I can do!

Thx for your comments!
139  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Very first crochet project: a pink scarf! (Now with pattern) on: March 18, 2009 11:13:51 AM
I made this last year and I've been wearing it during two winters. It's a very simple pattern, yet it seems complicated enough to make people think I'm a crochet queen...  Cool Shocked

and a close-up

Here's the pattern I used (mostly triple crochets, crochets and slip stitches). Start with Ch 82. (You can start with fewer stitches but it has to follow the formula (8*n)+2)

140  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Bracelets and keyhangers on: March 18, 2009 11:01:16 AM
I figured it was time I posted something hand made...  Grin

I used to give away or sell most of the jewelry I made but here are a few pieces I kept for myself:

A very simple green bracelets I've made a very long time ago:

My favorite! But I hardly wear it because I'm afraid it will lose its beads (plus it's annoying when you use a computer mouse)

A purple bracelet I've worn thousands of times (you can see it!):

I'm not sure keyhangers qualify as jewelry but they're still WIP anyway. They're waiting for crocheted flowers or beads (and I don't allow myself near a crochet until I finish my current project!)
