1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / traffic signs on: July 19, 2009 11:09:51 AM
My hubby has a bunch of street signs from his wayward adolescence and garage sales. We don't know what to do with them. Any ideas?

There are four "stop" signs, one "road construction", and one "no off road vehicles". We currently have 2 of the stop signs affixed to cafe tables on the patio, but they get pretty hot in the sun. We have a large backyard with many trees so an outdoor use would work.

Thanks
2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Dresser drawers no dresser on: July 01, 2009 08:10:54 PM
I've got 5 drawers the same size and 2 smaller ones, but no dresser.  They are wood with simple rectangle handles. What can I do with them?
3  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Input please! Glass mosaic Update completed on: June 29, 2009 08:39:26 AM
I am new here and love seeing all the wonderful work you all do.

This is my first attempt at mosaic and I wanted some input before moving forward. I was thinking of grouting in black to enhance the body and hair.

Thanks Hsg! I grouted in black:
