Here are pictures of the gift I received from Troublet

She sent me a beautiful embroidered felt pin cushion, a wonderful easy to read sewing crafts book and Yes, those are Dark Chocolate special M & M's...very very very yummy!

Here is a close up of the pin cushion.  Sorry the picture is fuzzy! My husband thanks you too!  Hopefully no more needles on the floor Sad

Thank you again Troublet and I am getting your thank you card out this weekend!

Woo Hoo! She likes it, she like it!  So happy Smiley  Everyone I have sent the pictures to love the Blue haired dog (it's from the One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish book).  The Lazy Lion Licking a Lollipop is from the ABC book. I had a Horton Hears a Who picture picked out but ran out of time. Here is a close up of the blue haired dog that I took Smiley

33  Re: Halloween altoids tin swap GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by kjbaloo on: October 09, 2009 08:44:50 AM
I recieved my tin from SpunkyBubbles last night. Enclosed was a wonderful tin, card (thank you  Cheesy ) and a cute Pez Dispenser.  Since my husband is so into the scare-you-so-badly-you-want-to-piddle part of Halloween my theme was simply cutsie non-bloody Halloween.  I think my partner did a wonderful job.

The outside of the tin was painted and had this cute witch on top.  What's cool is the outlines are raised up and felted.  The pez dispenser is just priceless Smiley

The inside of the tin is my favorite!  The handdrawn "cute" witch is just adorable, i think she used paint on cardstock but I could be wrong...

Inside was a treasure trove of pez candy (Cherry is my favorite!), Candy Corn felt earings, a packet of 3 markers and 3 hard paper/carboard figures to color myself of a mummy, bat and frankenstein.  I think I am going to get some magnets and put these on my refrigerator.

Thank you again for a great swap Spunky Bubbles!

34  Painted Wooden Picture Frame for Baby in Completed Projects by kjbaloo on: September 15, 2009 09:47:59 AM
I painted a wooden picture frame with acrylic paints and decorated with preprinted woodsies.  I painted the background and then added white details with small paintbrush.
This was for a friend of mine who just had a baby girl.

Just finished this baby blanket for my friend who just had a beautiful baby girl!  I am really happy with the way this turned out.  I did start with a kit and then added some extra stitching.

Sorry out of touch for the Labor Day weekend.  I received my wonderful swap on late Friday.  I have a mailbox at the UPS store and had to open it right then and there.  The girl behind the counter oohh and ahhed with me Smiley

These are from Zigg13pra.  They are in royal blue with  jewels and teeny tiny eye pin on the top to hold a "floating" bead.

Love them!  Thank you Zipp13pra

Heloo!  I received these fabulous hairsticks from Spotnik.  They are in my favorite colors of blue and purple and have some fantastic beads attached.  I would love to know how she got the hole drilled in these chopsticks..I tried on my pair and they just splintered all to heck...Anyway, Love them, love them! Thank you!

38  Re: Altoid Tin Round 12 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by kjbaloo on: August 07, 2009 08:27:23 AM
I sent this tin to tracy87.  I combined 2 of her themes, purple and hearts.  Since this was my first swap, there was definately some trial and error.

I painted the outside with metallic paints and glued wooden hearts with a painted design on the front.  I added a ribbon on the bottom.

On the inside I found some beautiful purple paper and mod podged tissue paper for the bottom.

I made 2 bookmarks with a handpainted design and then added ribbons, beads, or wooden charms that I painted for the "tails"

Another wooden heart

This is my small attempt at sewing.  I made a felt heart and attached sequins or beads.

The rest are shrinkie dinks.  I love these things!

For a first time swappie this was a lot of fun Smiley

I received my tin from tracey87 last night and I was very excited.  My themes were frogs and butterflies.

The outside of the tin is painted with a wood butterfly attached to the tin.  On the bottom was a froggie sticker and I forgot to get a picture of it!  Sorry!

Inside the tin was some beautiful butterfly paper.

My booty was a treasure trove of goodies.  There was a quilled paper butterfly, a pipe cleaner butterfly, two binder clips that had butterflies painted on them, a froggie gift card (sooo cute!) and a froggie rub/iron on.

Thank you tracey87 for making my first swap really great!

I painted this vase for my wedding.  During the wedding it sat on the mantle of a fireplace with a beautiful flower arrangement.
