11  Granny square bag with beads in Crochet: Completed Projects by kjbaloo on: January 13, 2012 01:07:16 PM
I did this bag for Fukubukuro Bag swap and I loved making it.  I used size 10 crochet thread and size 11 beads.

Only had one small incident with the beads and a large strip of duct tape helped with that:)

My blue drawstring bag and a boatload of fantastic buttons, cutie pie China town kittens (trying to figure how to get the cell phone charm on my new phone), christmas tree ornament, (uber cute)

LOVE this woodburned picture frame for my "Devil Dog"...hehhhhhheee

Notebook with butterfly printed paper inside and wonderful necklace

And the best part, this fabulous soft scarf and a slappy wrist bracelet with a froggie (which I am wearing now Smiley)

Thank you soooo much hgddm! LoVE!

My mother- in-law gave me an OLD crochet pattern book back in October and I have been obsessed. For Christmas I picked a design out and made for her.

Mercerized Crochet Cotton size 10, pattern from  Popular Crochet Lily Design Book No 204 "Centerpiece in Crocheted Cluny"

17  Crocheted Squares-Afghan in Crochet: Completed Projects by kjbaloo on: March 04, 2011 09:50:24 AM
Last year I became obsessed with crocheting and tried to go blankets for all of my family...did not quite make it. BUT i did manage to do this one for my Dad.

Double Crochet with Red Heart Super Saver medium Weight Yarn,  Pattern  from Red Hearts One Square, Many Ways "Neptune"

I need more practice sewing all the squares together and tucking in the ends...mine were getting kinda bumpy.
Any comments welcome!

18  Re: Star Baby Blanket~Along in Crochetalongs by kjbaloo on: January 05, 2011 02:31:06 PM
Finally posting pictures of my star baby blanket.  I used sport weight yarn and since I didn't know if it was going to be a girl or boy I used pink, blue and white.

Here is the wonderful stuff I got from strawberryh:

Look at all the goodies!!!  The can is on the left (yes it is a leather clutch!) a bag of bottle caps (didn't have any of these so cool beans ), corks, 2 stuffed dragons (one from Shrek), gold chocolate coins, butterfly ornament, a plastic gragon that looks like Mushu from Mulan, 2 suckers, some ducky bath safety treads (being regifted immediately to my Dad for X-mas), cool mushroom ornaments, 2 necklaces and 2 scrabble tile pendants...

Here's a closeup up of the can

The Dragons (trying to keep them away from my dogs)

Mushrooms ...still trying to figure out how they were made, They remind me of the Mario mushrooms!

Love these so much, they are gorgeous! going out to find chains for these right away

Thank you Strawberryh!

I have not figuer out if this is a belt or a skinny scarf but the colors are awesome.

Strawberry it is a scarf made out of wool yarn. I was going to felt it but ran out of time Smiley
