1  Re: Random Swap Round 5 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by RobbinZombie on: May 25, 2014 10:14:21 AM
I received from my AMAZING partner Scarlet_Nights and this is what I received:

A shot of everything I received. My box was jam packed and everything arrived safely

This is the beautiful string art she made me. I cannot wait to hang it in my house.

This is a shot of all the random bits she sent to add to my collection of random bits to make mixed media projects out of. I love the little eggs and cannot wait to find ways to use what you sent.

She also sent me a peach smelling candle which my fiancé actually likes. A toy for my dog which he loves. A notebook which I already started using. A super cool modified statue and pincushion with fun buttons and bits.

She also sent watercolor pages and a Generation T book!

She made me some of the coolest jewelry. I love the mustache vampire and the TNBC and the pinup, scratch that I love all of it.

Here is a close-up of the modified statue. I might have to put it on the cake table at my wedding later this year  Grin

Thank you for everything!

2  Re: Heroes and Villains Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by RobbinZombie on: April 13, 2014 04:10:00 PM
I received from my awesome partner BigBangMomma. My fiancé and I pulled up to the house and he was like "Why is there a box of applesauce on our porch?" and I shouted "MY SWAP BOX!" It was all boxed up in an applesauce box which I thought was really funny because of the "food" related item inside. So here is what I got...

I got a crocheted Joker, Peter Pan hoop, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs shrine.

I can't wait to put this up in my craft room because it fits my personality perfectly. This girl isn't ever growing up!

I absolutely love love love his face and hair, such a good job. My fiancé was like "Why do you always get sent super creepy things that will like come to life and murder you in the middle of the night?" My response of course was "Because my swap partners know what I like and don't worry The Joker isn't going to kill me..."

Here is a good shot of Jokers belt, so he doesn't get plumbers butt Wink and a close shot of all the falling food in the Cloudy Shrine.

Here is a shot of the back and I love that she incorporated the book. I grew up with the book and it was just perfect!

Thank you for everything! This was BigBangMommas first time making a shrine and I think she did an amazing job.

3  Foxtopus with Macklemore hair in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by RobbinZombie on: March 10, 2014 03:22:07 PM
I created this for Suereal in The Loyal(Royal) Mutant Swap https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=430474.0#axzz2vbLCP5Tv. We had to at least incorporate 2 items from our partners ingredients list, I was able to make 7 items work.

-Multiple eyes
-Color combo Orange, Chartreuse, and Purple
-Creepy Cute

As soon as I saw Suereals list of 24 ingredients I knew that at the very least it had to have a fox head with Macklemore hair. After that everything just fell into place some tentacles here, multiple eyes there. It took me awhile, but I created my pattern and tweaked it until this mutant appeared.

I wasn't sure how I wanted to do the hair, but ultimately I tried my hand at needle felting and loved it!

I am so happy with the way it turned out!

4  Re: The Loyal(Royal) Mutant Swap of 2014!!--Science Fair/Gallery in The Swap Gallery by RobbinZombie on: February 27, 2014 05:58:50 PM
Here is my AMAZING mutant from Suereal. When me and my fiancé opened the box we were not sure what to expect and this thing came jumping out. My Mutant has been sitting on my kitchen counter and every time my fiancé walks past I think it disturbs him more and more, which = = WIN! He has like 12 ingredients from my list, which Suereal has offered to post.

He has this amazing Yoda/hammerhead thing going on.

Under the fur on his tail is a switch that lights up the tip of his tail and a switch underneath that makes him talk.

I don't know if you recognize his beard, but Wulf should  Wink

I just love the random Narwhal tusk to nick you when you aren't looking

I forgot to mention that like half his body/eyes/wings GLOW IN THE DARK.

There were also contraband *cough* Kinder Eggs *cough**cough* they were eaten upon arrival to destroy any evidence of them on US soil. I'm excited to try the candy bars and I can't wait to use the eyes. I love that we sent each other eyes. Suereal also made me a really really cool wall hanging that I forgot to get a picture of because it is already hanging in my craftroom. So I'll post that later.  Thank you Suereal he is perfect!

5  IT'S SO FLUFFY I'M GONNA DIE!!!! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by RobbinZombie on: April 06, 2013 12:35:30 PM

A little over a month ago my sister texted me and asked me to make her the unicorn from Despicable Me for her 22nd birthday.
I told her I would see what I could do, but I didn't think it would happen. So for an entire month while I was creating a pattern, sewing, resewing, stuffing, etc I let her believe that she was getting a gift card instead.
So here it is, the infamous Despicable Me unicorn.

My sister wanted a 48" unicorn, I told her she was crazy. The biggest stuffie I have ever made was my Sharktopus Stuffie which was a little over 2ft long. This stuffie has an 18" body and a 14" head and required an entire jumbo bag of stuffing.

The mane and tail were created by making small bunches of yarn and handsewing it into place. It was time consuming, but totally worth every minute.

I loved the detail that I was able to put into the unicorn, like the crazy nostrils and pink line around the muzzle.

Cute unicorn butt!

The thing I liked making the most was the unicorn horn. I had never done one before and I love the way it turned out. You can't really tell, but I used Metallic Gold thread to make the bulges and it adds that sparkle that every unicorn needs.

The reaction I got from my sister when she saw it and when she shook it for the first time and yelled "IT'S SO FLUFFY I'M GONNA DIE!!!" made all the work worth it.

I hope you enjoyed what I created.

C&C Welcome.

6  Baby Bigfoot/Sasquatch Stuffie in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by RobbinZombie on: March 28, 2013 09:27:55 AM
I LOVE Cryptozoology (The study of creature we aren't quite sure exist)  and have loved it ever since I was a kid. I think what I love about Cryptozoology is that there are some mysteries in this world we may never solve.

My favorite Cryptid is Bigfoot, I don't know why, maybe because it was the first Cryptid I knew about or maybe because I love the woods. For whatever reason out of all the stuffies I have made I have yet to make a Bigfoot, until now.

I was commissioned this past Christmas to create an handful of stuffies for a little girl who loves Cryptozoology as much as I do. One of them was a Bigfoot stuffie and of course I sent it off without taking photos, for whatever reason in my excitement I always forget to take photos of my creations. I fell so much in love with the Baby Bigfoot that I created for her that I of course had to make one for myself.

Maybe what I love about Bigfoot is the footprints they leave behind.  Grin

Thanks for Looking!

7  Re: Zoo Animal Gallery in The Swap Gallery by RobbinZombie on: October 14, 2012 02:36:10 PM
So I received my package from my amazing swap partner Lindsey. I pick it up from my gparents house on Friday on my way to a SciFi convention and just got home. This is seriously one of the best packages that I have ever gotten swapping. I just hope I sent her enough because I only sent her 3 things because that scarf took FOREVER. Anyway, When I opened the box the first thing I saw was this amazing tote bag.

It has all sorts of animals in the pattern including a Sloth, it is beautifully done and my grandma LOVED it. Sorry for her, its mine  Wink The more you look at the pattern the more animals you find.

Next sticking out of the bag was this super cute octopus stuffie in my favorite colors.

The funny thing is when I was in Chicago two weekends ago I almost bought an octopus stuffie at the aquarium that looked exactly like this. I love the fabric she used for the "suckers" it is a swirl pattern.

Next was this super soft owl stuffie

My boyfriend is trying to steal him right now.

Then this amazingly painted box with Koi on it.

The painting job is really really awesome and I can't wait to put things in it and display it in my house.

Inside the box was some fun jewelery including bat earrings that my friend Amy will probably try and steal, a squid necklace, and an aquarium necklace with a shark and crab in it (I couldn't get a good pix of it)

Thank you sooo much Lindsey, seriously the best package and I hope you love what I made you as much as I love what you made me.

I'm sorry Jennden it took me longer than expected to post photos of the amazing painting you sent me, but work and family have been very needy lately.

Anyway, I received this on Monday

I showed my gparents and my boyfriend and everyone loved it, I love it. I am currently moving in with my boyfriend so we are looking for a permanent place to put it in his townhouse. Thank you so much and I hope you love what I make you.

9  Re: The Amazing Hoodie Swap R12 Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by RobbinZombie on: November 03, 2011 07:07:17 AM
My partner is having issues with her camera, so I'm going to post a photo for her. I only have one, so bare with me. My partner, Errka requested among many themes Old School Sailor Tattoos which I of course picked instantly.

I knew I wanted to do a ship scene, but when I was done it needed something so I added the rope around it to finish it off. I also added a shark fin because what ocean scene is complete without one??? I had plans for the front, but the back took up all my time and I think it turned out pretty awesome.
