That sloth hoop is AMAZING!

My partner received my hoop over a week ago and hasn't posted a photo, so I'm going to help her out! This is the hoop I sent her. Keep in mind this is only the second embroidery I've ever done lol so it's far from perfect. I'm just glad my partner liked it. I took the design from a Zombie Cupcake pendant both she and I had on our wists.

Here's my hoop from Evilpixie too!! I LOVE it! The eyebrow is hilarious.

I now introduce Mr. Octopus!

The backstitch used to make the suction cups on the tentacles is perfect! A stroke of stitchery genius! Thank you Evilpixie, he'll be treasured forever!!

WARNING!! WARNING!! Prepare to be wow'd, omg'd and if you're wearing socks they WILL be knocked off!!

I finally got to open my package and it was sooooo worth the wait. I mean really REALLY worth the wait. All I can say is that my almost neighbor OneGroovyDay is WONDERFUL!

Here's the box upon opening...! such cool fabrics! I mean really, the fabrics themselves were great! I know I'll have lots of things I can do with them! I opened the card first because I just had to know who my secret santa was!! <3 you OneGroovyDay!

I choose the oddly shaped snowman package to open first, I love snowmen so it had to be first.
Inside was the coolest bowl I now own. I do love bright colors! The bowl was filled with tissue paper wrapped packages! Packages in packages.. I would have been thrilled with just the bowl!

The packages had such fun stuff in them!! 2 hair clippies in rainbow colors (perfect!) and happy cloud earrings that were on my wist!

At this point I'm already feeling totally spoiled but wait, there's more!! I choose the chili pepper package next because it was little, and I love little packages lol. Inside were 2 pins, the heart is straight from my wist and the cat pin is *ADORABLE* it is boyfriend's favorite item! Not sure if you can tell or not but the stitching is teeny tiny and perfect!

Next I opened the cute monkey head package! Who can resist cute monkey heads, I can't! lol In it is the most wonderful apron that fits beautifully. I love the sushi fabric and the accent fabrics OneGroovyDay chose to use. I've been needing a fun, good craft apron. I had a ton of aprons on my wist and this one kicks all the other apron's butts. Please excuse the frumpy-after-a-long-day-at-work-then-cooking-dinner photo lol the only way I could show just how truly awesome this apron is was by taking an action shot and I do mean action. Hit the camera timer, put it in the bookshelf, have the camera fall down as I'm running into place, run back *click* darnit! lol so funny.

Next came the polkadot fabric package that had my favorite lip stuff (Burt's Bees Rhubarb Lip Shimmer) and a bookmark in it. I have a serious bookmark addiction so OneGroovyday couldn't have picked a better bought item for me! YAY!

The last package you can't truly appreciate if I tell you about it. You just have to see it to understand just how hilarious, cool and incredible it is, inside and out. This has got to be my most favorite fabric ever and whenever I look at it I giggle.

SEE! lol pure awesome! And that's just the drawstring bag holding something equally as awesome! My very first embroidery in a hoop, the start of my hoop wall!! THANK YOU!! I love the embroidery so much. I've just started embroidery myself and truly appreciate it!

Ya, I warned you. My package was truly epic. I can't even pick out a favorite item, I love it all so! THANK YOU SO MUCH ONEGROOVYDAY!!!

Here's a photo of the mustachioed Totoro I made for Shadowbox Smiley It is very silly and I didn't think it turned out like I wanted it to. I'm just glad she liked him!

And she made me a super cute mustache finger pin cushion, which I needed, because of this felt-taxerdermy thing I'm doing,  have to use like three pin cushions for various things. So very helpful.

lol I never even thought of it as a pincushion, which it totally could be! I should have put a note on it telling you what I was thinking when I made it. It's an anytime, anywhere mustache disguise! You just put it on your finger and hold it under your nose = instant mustachoied you! You can even pretend your pets have mustaches!

I just got home from vacation in Toronto, Canada and waiting in my mailbox were these 2 great bookmarks from YumJello01! I love the look on the octo's face and the colors are wonderful! The bonus bookmark makes me hungry.. I can almost smell the chocolate. I also like that it's recycled art! Both are laminated with heavy-duty laminate and will be used for many years to come!

Thank you YumJello01!

Wow those copper bookmarks are amazing.. and built to last! They'll be a family heirloom for many readers to come. I just might have to request a private swap  Wink

Stellou - you did a beautiful job with the bookmarks, they ones you sent to Beckashell match the book beautifully!

I received a package from Amber565 yesterday and it contained a pretty card she made, a really cool woven ribbon bookmark that I think is fascinating and last but not least, my most favorite piratey bookmark I've ever had! (and I've had quite a few!) Not only is it pirate themed, but it's also brown which is a big WIN. I love it! Thank you Amber!

and now for the eyecandy!
