I feel like a bit of a jerk pointing this out, but you missed the "t" in strength. The stitching looks good though.

Are evil law firms acceptable, because I think that I would make a valuable employee of Wolfram and Hart. Wink

So I'm curious: How are people involved in this swap connected to Rocky?

My parents introduced me to the wonderful Rocky audience participation phenomena years and years ago by telling me stories about a friend of theirs from college that used to go to showings regularly, but I did not actually get to see a show until my first year of college.  It took three years to finally get up my courage to join that cast, and now I'm going on my third year.  Last year I even went to RockyCon in Atlantic City and met Little Nell and Patricia Quinn.

Anyone have any interesting connections to the movie/show or funny stories to tell?

Even better the shop has the same fabric in several different cat type prints.

Would they happen to have a gray/black tabby tiger pattern (and perhaps a website to order from), because I have been beating my brains out looking for something like that. *hopes*

Just sent in my questionaire answers.  Since I don't know what "your time" is, I hope I can still get in!

7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Kraken on: August 09, 2009 05:53:56 PM
This reminds me of a project that my boyfriend and I were talking about for awhile.  We just moved into a new house a little less than a year ago with a fairly large living room, and we had the idea to make a giant beanbag chair.  Though instead of an epic Kraken like this, it was going to be a Snorlax pokemon (because we are nerds, and because the Snorlax already sort of looks like a giant beanbag chair).  This project gives me the confidence to consider working on my giant stuffy pattern.  Thanks!

I might have to try this myself, sometime.  I used to have an ewok doll, but it got lost Sad

I love this idea.  It reminds me of when I used to do crafts with my mom when I was really little, and we'd make all sorts of jewelry out of the big wooden beads that were super easy to string.  Too bad that yours seem to have caused you a bit more difficulty, but they definitely look much better.
10  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Not so little anymore... on: August 09, 2009 05:05:20 PM
Totally adorable!  This makes me want to learn to crochet.

Also, not sure how this reminded me of them, but I would love to see the Mr. Men made in amigurumi. *plots*
