261  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: PMC pendants I made in class**Added new pieces Page 2** on: September 11, 2010 06:11:16 PM
Hey I have that book!  Cheesy I've been dying to try making some PMC stuff but I too have no way to fire it.  No torches, electric stove.... I know a lady who owns a craft store and she has a kiln that she rents out but sadly she lives 3 1/2 hrs away.  Cry Someday though...someday...

Your stuff came out great. I liked that little book charm too when I saw it in the book. Smiley
262  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Craftster tutorials rock! on: September 11, 2010 09:24:37 AM
This is a bag I made for my sister's birthday using the tutorials here on Craftster.  Grin

I wanted it to be sophisticated on the outside yet fun and cute on the inside.
She loves owls right now so I lined it with cute owl fabric.

Decent pocket space...

It's basically a Jordy bag with some slight modifications.
I gave it straight sides like in this tute...

I added the pleat myself. And then put the bag together with the top zipper like in this tute...

The interior zippered pocket was made according to this tute...

Thank you to all those who provide such good tutorials!! I couldn't have made this without you! (OK so maybe I could have it just would have taken me a LOT longer. lol Grin)

Oh, BTW she loved the bag. She even texted me the next day to tell me she was already using it.  Cheesy

*sigh* I've been wanting to make myself a messenger bag for months now. I really like yours! The colors are exactly what I would've picked. Wishing I had the time and money...  Sad
264  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Monokuro Boo - black and white piggies *With patterns* on: May 19, 2009 03:53:51 PM
Hurrah! I'm glad I found this! My sis asked me to make some ami's for our friends in Japan. And I so wanted to make one of these cute piggies for Haru-san, ('cuz she had them all over when we visited her). None of the other piggy patterns were quite satisfactory and I spend too much time on such things when I try to come up with my own patterns. So this is just prefect! Thank you! ^_^V
