I LOVE ranch style homes.  Check out http://www.atomic-ranch.com/   They have great ideas for little changes outside that make a big difference.  House numbers, topiary, colors ect.
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Please help those who know ANYTHING about early 1970's female hippie style! on: August 13, 2010 02:19:23 PM
Those moms were totally rocking the original Maxi-dress!

I was born in the 70's, but my elderly  aunt has a closet full of that stuff.  I remember looking through her closet when I was a kid and being kind of embarrassed for her.  Lime green poly pants, with purple bells that hung like they were flower petals, anyone?  Or, maybe the russet brown and flaming orange poly tunic in geometric shaped prints?  Yeah.

Can I criticize?  I recall alot of flourescent, rubber and fishnets in my wardrobe. (Cindy Lauper and Madonna wannabes... you know the look) blech!  I was SO happy that I got out of that look and into the grunge.. torn pants and logger's flannels.  /end sarcasm

You did a great job on the mouldy parts and paint job.  He looks to be a well aged and properly frightening jack-o-lantern.  Grin
4  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Re: Plaid shorts for my lovely husband! (pair one of two) on: August 03, 2010 06:49:06 PM
I like the color of the shorts, perfect man shorts material.  I have to ask tho, are his feet painted?  You mentioned he didn't like to wear shoes.... and I *think* I see toes.... but I'm not really sure what I'm seeing down below.   Grin

6  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Unicorn Stallion on: July 28, 2010 04:57:14 AM
When I saw the first photo, I thought it was a photo shopped horn on a real stallion.  Amazing work, and absolutely beautiful.
7  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: No title yet on: June 23, 2010 04:29:31 PM
I really, really like that.  Aside from the colors, I can kind of feel the anxiety of it ( I think the color combo is too close to my favorites for me to associate them with anxiety.)  The "almost" aspect of it is appropriate.  Almost circles, almost spirals...

It is something that would calm me in my home.... funny that.
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: 4 piece winter set (first big project) on: May 17, 2010 05:38:44 PM
I love the green!  It's my current favorite shade of green, which is my all time favorite color!

And.. anyone ever tell you that you look like Uma Thurman?
