11  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Mother's Day necklace on: May 09, 2011 03:11:29 AM
My sister and I needed a last minute gift for our mom. She searched all her jewelry and gave me a simple pearl necklace that had a broken closure.
We also found several pendants and I finally decided to use this stone heart. I also added some little glass beads.

Sorry for the not so good pic.
12  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / A bunch of Amigurumis (6 pics) on: May 09, 2011 02:51:11 AM
These are nearly all of the amigurumis I made over the past two years.

13  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Completed Projects / Rainbow colored yarn on: May 09, 2011 02:22:04 AM
This was made for a swap. I had to dye 100g of yarn (I chose Easter egg colors) and start knitting a scarf or something.

I really love how the colors turned out.
14  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Tea cup and plates on: May 09, 2011 02:17:59 AM
Yesterday I bought this set at a garage sale. I fell in love with the color.

But I have no idea what to do with it. I think it's just way too frumpish the way it is now. I mean, I'm 26 and not 80 or something.

So I need an idea what I can do to make it fit to me. I hope you can help me.

15  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Candle holder on: May 07, 2011 12:25:57 PM
I made this from old CDs I checked (grammar? sorry, I'm not sure about this) in the microwave and cut into little pieces. Then I glued them onto another cd.

It doesn't look that great, but when it's dark and I light a candle, it's so wonderful.

16  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Captain Psychedelic Doll on: May 02, 2011 11:11:32 AM
Years ago I bought this neon colored yarn, which lay in my stash for quite a while. Later I bought a book about making dolls and stuffed animals, where I found a cute pattern for a sailor.

Put crazy yarn, sailor pattern and plastic flowers together and you'll get this:

I made a lot of stuff, but this doll is definitely one of my absolutely favourites. I'm so sorry I lost it.  Cry

I'm so happy how the face turned out. I've never embroidered anything before, and this smile looks just perfect to me.

I just love the Captain.

17  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Rat Food Bag on: May 01, 2011 10:35:10 AM
After viewing several posts on this board I came up with the idea of a bag to keep food in which you can hang in a cage.

So I grabbed some cotton fabrics, needle and yarn and started off.

And here's what I made:

It didn't turn out how I expected, and it's not pretty good. Well, my sewing skills are...not good, as you can see. But luckily the rats don't care.

18  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Punctuation on: April 30, 2011 10:24:56 AM
My boyfriend is working on his own roleplaying system. It has about 200 pages so far. I'm responsible for spell checks and stuff.
Well, to be honest my love isn't the sharpest tool in the box when it comes to spelling, punctuation or even using the caps lock key. The worst thing is that he rarely uses commas. So one day I joked and said I'll give him a few commas for Christmas.
I never got that idea out of my head, so last Christmas he really got a little comma made of fleece.
