161  Re: Junk Jewelry Necklace/Bracelet, Round 2 - Gallery in The Swap Gallery by sweetyetevil on: November 24, 2009 04:55:45 PM
Pupper and I received from one another.

Here is what I sent to her

The chain came from two different necklaces. One is silver and the other one a darker silver.
The little wings came from some crazy earrings I had from the 80's. So did the little crystals.
the two charms in the middle and one on the side came from a charm bracelet I found in an antique/resale shop a few years ago. I had to have it! I noticed after I took this pic I changed the stone from a yellow one to green since I thought she would like a darker color better.
the pic does not show it very well but there are some wrapped colored glass near the top that I used from a bracelet I have had for way too many years.
Here is the cute bracelet pupper sent to me!!!

There are charms galore on it! I was too afraid to make the necklace too heavy by adding anymore now I am wondering if I should have!!
She listed that the charms came from all over the place.
the lock came from her teenage diary
skull came from old bf's necklace
flower charm from grandma's earring
and many other ones. Very interesting history!!
Thank you pupper!!!

Finally home and able to relax and got to open my kick ass pacakge from Babalina!

This tin is so awesome and the pics do not do it justice! She did some really cool clay work all over and added the graveyard scene to the top. The inside is perfect with the stones and happy halloween.

All the goodies inside. I love the hair clips with the spiderwebs and spider. There is also a matching pendant...The heart pandant is getting wore immediately! Velvet cord and sweet filagree pendant with red stones!

The whole bunch of goodies!

These are my fav towels for the kitchen! I love being able to hang them now I have a halloween one...woooohoooooo

Although this is not part of the swap I wanted to share the memory quilt that babalina made for my sister. It is very special and I thank you for taking the time and making something that will be cherished.

165  someone is sweet on me... in Completed Projects by sweetyetevil on: October 02, 2009 05:33:20 PM
So this story starts back over 20 some years ago when when I was just a pre teen. I met a boy named John who use to pick on me....we went to school for several years and then he moved away. I got a random email from said boy several months ago...now he is all grown up as am I. He moved back to the state and was looking up people he went to school with and we talked back and forth as the class reunion was coming up. I went back home for reunion and this boy, now a man, who I would have never ever in a million years would have went out with when we were young is so fricken cute and his eyes are as blue as blue can be and I cannot keep my eyes off of him. One of the only ways I would have recognized him were by those eyes....he came to visit me and brought me these frames he made out of recycled eye beams. He mounted a picture frame behind it and if you look closely on the larger one there is a pic of him as I remember he looked like when we were kids. He wants a pic of me to put in the other side and for the center a new one of us which we just took....

He took the cut out from the frame above and used it for this one....I love the barbed wire he used...

All grown up

I received my awesome package from saltandpepper over the weekend while I was gone so I came home to a goodie box!
We sent several of the same things to one another for the crayola portion....I found this odd out of all the things you could choose from!!!
an close up of the crafted goodies. saltandpepper made me a really cool colorful neacklace, two bracelet made with crayola ribbon and a custom clay pen colored in my fav shade!

Another close up of the cool items. I really love that she made me jewelry and the pen. I use to have a thing with buying all sorts of unusual pens so this one made my day!

All my goodies together! I got a chipboard album, bright colored pencils, crayons, pipsqueak markers, mini notecards and a crayola tin. She did a wonderful job of picking out the perfect things and crafting the coolest items.
Thanks so much Amanda!!!

169  finally busting out da yudu for a spin! in Screen Printing: Completed Projects by sweetyetevil on: August 16, 2009 05:26:06 PM
After buying a yudu I let it sit for over a month before I had the courage to try it out. Her are my first couple of shirts and I am loving my new toy! I just got some different colors of speedball to try out so the next shirt will be colored. Not quite sure how to use the computer programs to seperate layers for multi colors but that is my next step!

My first shirt I made was for a swap. Nothing like pressure to get it right!

This was the second shirt for the same swap. haha it was for a pimp your user name swap.

This lil onsie was made for my best pals first baby Violet the week before she was born. She just arrived last week and I will be making her all sorts of stuff!
They are just black inked projects but I am very proud of my first shirts!

The front of my shirt

Has the cool owl from the tootsie roll commercial. (that might be before some people here were born lol)
the back of the shirt

crochet mushroom

kinky explained that the mushroom is the sweet side yet the colors represent the evil side. I wish I could find the note she wrote me lol it mentioned hobgoblin skin haha
some extra goodies as she knows what another one of my hobbies is, geocaching. Not only did she know what that was but she has actually done it!!! These are some goodies to play with or leave in a cache. Very cool hehe and that shock phone might make its way into my purse.

My little man Hallo Monster enjoying his treats from Kinky. He was all over that box before I could open it. I could not figure out why until I saw his treats.

He was mesmerized by the cookies LOL
Thanks for the cool swap kinky! I cannot wait till you get home and open your package!
