11  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Granma's old vintage bag strap surgery on: October 21, 2011 03:19:30 AM
It's been a while since my last post..Well today I was having an alone-treasure hunt moment at my room to find old book for my blogshop.  As I was searching for them, suddenly I saw this old but awesome vintage bag.  I took the bag and asked granma to give it to me (hehehe).  She was like ''what's that???!! owh okay just take it Cheesy''

I don't really know where she bought it.  But  I think she got it somewhere from Saudi Arabia a freaking looong time a go.

ok here's the bag

and I has the ugliest strap ever.  I hate it when the PU leather fell off from the strap and made like someone cracked them..

Ugly strap:

Then I got this ideas to do a very simple strap surgery.  Not so awesome but now I can use the bag.

1) I glued (using SUPER GLUE) the black vintage lace on the strap

2) Then I sewed the excess lace at the back (can u see those fine lines?)

3) Aaaand KaBAAAM! my new lovely strap  Grin

4) Also i've added metal beads as a result of major boredom.

Hope you like it  Grin Grin Grin

18  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Glam gothique skirt alert!(image chubby) and a dress form on: August 04, 2009 08:35:59 PM
Last week I've done this skirt without using any pattern..  I was soo stressed out so i've made my decision to sew something that can make me go woohooo Shocked!!!  The day before my dad bought me 4 metres of black cloth and 3 metres of red burgundy organza..also add 1 metre or chain maille

For the skirt i've used about 3/4 m of black cloth and 1 m of organza (more to make a bigger poof) and 1 m of chain maille to make the gothic punk detail and effect..  I've done it approximately in 3-4 backpain hours and the result really make me go woohooo!!  I also made my mum to wear it but sorry no picture of that.. Grin

ok, stop babbling and here are the photos Wink

and the dress form that me and my mum did last sunday..

Please comment!!!

19  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Harry Potter hanging mobile (image chubby) on: July 10, 2009 07:53:10 PM
I think when I was 14, I've made a Harry Potter style hanging mobile for my arts and craft class at school..  I was quite blank of what should I do and finally I got the inspiration to make something harry potter-ish..  At that time i was sooo freaking in love with Harry Potter  Wink

i did the cut outs of my wand, the sorting hat, harry's lightning scar, prof. trelawney's crystal ball and nimbus 2000

this is the full hanging mobile (the colour is a bit dull coz I was not so artistic before)

20  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Father's Day Card Gothic Style (image chubby as usual) on: July 10, 2009 06:12:51 PM
For the last father's day, I did a little surprise for my dad.  I did my own design for the father's day card, well of course GOTH..  Magically, my dad really love the card and he was sooo happy  Grin

For the interior, I did a lil' bit childish of me because I was at my crazy of craziness condition..

Drew two stick people of me and my dad and some childish wish for my dad..  And my mom was like, hey, your lil' brother can do that better than you!!  and she started laughing Wink Wink

please comment!! thanxx for looking Grin
