24  Razor blade necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by diy-me-amy on: June 07, 2009 06:36:00 AM
hey guys, I've found my mom's old razor blade pendant..It's soo freakin awesome!!! She don't have the full necklace, only the pendant so I took my old chain and attach the pendant to it..This not really a diy project but I've brushed on some clear nail polish to remain its metallic colour and prevent it from rusting also giving a little bit of texture on the pendant..Btw, that is not a real pendant and it is not sharp if not i would be dead by now..ahahahaha Grin

I just want to share it with you guys Cheesy

25  Pandan leaves with roses essentials (image chubby with tutorials) in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by diy-me-amy on: May 30, 2009 08:49:59 PM
Last thursday, me and my friends prepared the pandan leaves essentials for our teachers day celebration..  My friend Rina brought the leaves from home, Maru (her nickname) bought the roses and cut them into small strips and Merlin (his nickname) helped to cut the leaves too..  I'm the one who did some editing, filled the essentials into 8 organza pouches, taught them how to prepare the essentials and apply a special perfume to the essentials..

On the teachers day celebration (the next day) , most of the teachers loved the essentials!!! Yay!!!! Smiley

Owh yeah, you guys can try to make this too..It's soo easy Smiley Smiley

1. take a few pandan leaves and cut it into small strips (about 1mm)
2. choose any colourful flowers adn cut it a bit bigger than the leaves (about 3mm)
3. mix both pandan leaves and flowers together and apply some perfume or essential oil to them
4. make sure that the combination of pandan leaves and flowers get the smell of the essential oil or perfume
5. put it inside a fancy pouch (organza is recomended) and you can hang it in your room

P/S: if you don't have and essential oil you don't have to put anything because the leaves have it's own refreshing smell and my grandma said pandan leaves natural smell is good to prevent roaches..

In the photos the leaves were cut a bit thick but it's actuall size is 2 times thinner than ours..  My friend did the error but who cares everyone loves it!!  Smiley Smiley Smiley

Resting inside the organza pouches..

Lovely colours!!!

Ready to sleep in the fridge for morning refreshment
