Great work, I love them and I'm sure he will to Smiley
I tried to make boxer shorts for my boy last Valentines day but they ended up being too tight. He was really excitied about them though, I think he liked having something made for specially him Smiley
I did plan to fix them up so that they fitted but I lost heart and put them to the back of the sewing cupboard Sad
Maybe for next Valentines day Smiley
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Skirts and such :) on: December 28, 2010 02:53:49 PM
Great work! LOVE the swim skirt, I need one of those.
Isn't it great to know what you want and be able to make it rather than being a slave to what the stores say you should be wearing?!
Welcome to craftster Smiley

8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Corduroy Nap on: December 15, 2010 03:42:29 AM
Sorry I can't offer you any advice, but I would have cut it exactly the same way as you if that makes you feel any better Smiley
I just checked my corduroy jeans and the nap runs from the waist towards the toe ie. smooth when brushed from top to bottom so I would say that you have cut it the right way.
Wouldn't fluff and stuff get stuck to it really easily if it was running upwards?

I wouldn't stress too much, just keep going with what you have, good luck! Smiley
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Cosy old fashioned nightgown, and slinky 40s bathrobe on: December 04, 2010 08:24:21 PM
Your items are beautiful, I especially love the dressing gown and the tucks at the shoulders, looks stunning.
But I really love that room that you've taken all of your photos in, what a beautiful sun drenched spot to pull up a chair with a book or some sewing, such a lovely space Smiley
