my chair did not turn out as great.
i started half way into the patter she had because i did not feel like using that much yarn, its expensive!!
on the from section i ended up with too many stitches somehow and its a bit big.

its just from lost of rubber bands, ribbon, and pins! 8 oz baby bottles in the middle, filled with candy.

7  mosaic turtle table in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by jjo2009 on: April 18, 2009 09:38:05 PM
my mother is completely obsessed with turtles.
we found a cute old table.
for ages we were trying to decide what to do with it.
we always had an idea to to some type of tile mosaic art on it, so it would be cute for outside, etc.
orginally we thought we would buy pre tiny inch by inch type tiles.
then decide, why??
we bought discounted tiles from a hardwar store in the needed color and broke them with a hammer.
drew an outline of a turtle and tried to make the tiles fit!

9  book purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by jjo2009 on: April 16, 2009 11:11:14 AM
so, the ever popular book purse.
i wanted one for my self, so i decided to take my favorite book and give it a go.
it wasnt too bad, i was a little disapointed that the purse i chose didnt have a cool cover, so i tried to make up for it in the handles.
which now, looking at, i think are just a tad tacky.
maybe one day i will perfect the book purse.
but not bad for my first try.

this is toawrd the end, after the fabric cutting and sweing, holding everything in place to dry.

a view from the inside.
