11  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Old Gregg - a scaley man fish on: August 11, 2009 05:19:34 PM
Thank you so much everyone! Originally I wanted to make a Tony Harrison because he is my fave (This is an outrage!) but I couldn't find the perfect, eye-burning shade of magenta to make him so I decided on Old Gregg. I agree he is creepy but I love to do his voice and I can't even look at a bottle of Bailey's anymore without thinking of him <3

I hope you find it so you can make him. I love Tony Harrison Smiley

Old Gregg is awesome though. I am loving all this Mighty Boosh crocheting going on.

I definitely am signing up. I just have to fill out the form.

Also, I already ordered my Dethklok tickets for the Philly show. I went last year and it was awesome so I can't wait Smiley
13  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Venture Bros/Adult Swim swap? on: August 09, 2009 08:03:52 PM
There was just a venture bros swap recently which I participated in, but I think an adultswim swap would be awesome. I was considering organizing one myself if no one else did. I would be in on either one though. I love Venture Bros Smiley

I'm jealous you got to meet them too. Lucky girl Smiley
17  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Reversible Plugs! Picture Chubbers on: August 04, 2009 04:46:07 PM
These are awesome. My ears are 1/2" and I would love to be able to make my own plugs. I never worked with resin before though. Are these really tricky to make?
18  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Pink Shiny Girly Swap CLOSED!!, Send out Sept 16th!!! on: August 03, 2009 05:00:34 PM
I used to really like animal print.  My bedroom was pink zebra and leopard print. LOL.  I'm not into animal print anymore, though.

My room is lime green, hot pink and zebra print right now. It's so obnoxious but I love it Smiley
19  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: first (100% all by me) completed quilt! deconstructed rock/punk/metal t-shirts on: August 02, 2009 08:08:58 PM
Awesome job! I wish I had any kind of quilting skills so I could make one of those. I want one Smiley
20  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Trixie the sexy Poppet (lots of pics) on: August 02, 2009 07:56:10 PM
I just did the poppet mini swap and got a wonderful poppet from my partner WildFyre. I thought she needed a friend so I decided to try to make another poppet (my second one). The first one I just used the basic pattern since I wasn't sure how hard it would be. I decided to try the elenore pattern this time. I named her Trixie and I'm super pleased with how she turned out. Smiley

I gave her bendable fingers using pipe cleaner. Here she is rocking out and throwing up the horns. I crocheted a cap to fit her head and then attached the longer strands of yarn to make her hair.

Here she is camouflaging into my bed (which was the inspiration for her dress). I basically just made up the dress pattern as a went along but I like how it turned out.

Hanging out with her sexy poppet pal. Smiley

These are her underwear. The top laces up in the back. This was the first thing I made her so she didn't have to sit around naked.

I am definitely hooked on poppets now. I can't wait to make her some more clothes. I hope you like her Smiley
