Wow! So much cool stuff the fern pillow is incredible looks so real!

Got my super package from Clobo_the_hobo didn't know what to expect for my first swap but she totally spoilt me! I was in work all day alone so I opened one packet every hour just to drag it out.  Smiley

She wrapped everything so beautifully.

Each package had what the theme was on it. Heres the super cute robot.

First one I opened though was this great little bag. I think this was for Nature theme. (I have such a short memory!) It will be perfect for going to rock and roll do's etc. I love the fabric so much.

Next up was pirate theme cusion cover. I love it so much and currently have a pink throw on my sofa so it goes so well in my living room.

Next was 40's & 50's I told her what some of my favorite films were (High Society, On The Town etc) and she used them to create this awesome frame. I'm so rubbish at ever getting any pictures printed out so now this gives me a great reason to do so.

Next up is Flight of the Conchord! She made this great Business time t-shirt! Yes its a little tight at the moment but i'm in the proccess of loosing weight so this was an added insentive!  Grin Sorry my pictures a bit rubbish for this one.

And finally!!.... Robot!

I didn't tell her but I have a thing about girl robots. Most robots are boys and girls get totally over looked. She has a cute purple bow on her head (didn't come out in the picture Sad ) and some buttons from her Gran and Mams stash. (I love using my great grannies stash buttons so I totally love this) She said she was called Clobo at Clobo_the_hobos house, I think that sounds great to me.
I think shes already fallen for my neighbours windmill. Kiss Wink

She also sent me a couple of little extras some hand made envelopes out of magazine pages, stickers and some paper. Also a cool skull stamp which will come in very handy.

I'm so greatful for everything, thank you so much. This was an awsome swap so glad I picked this for my first to. Hope you like everthing I sent you too.

Yay for angels!

Wow only 4 days! I have been thinking it was Thursday though as thats payday so when I can afford to send out so mentally i'm getting an extra day. Smiley and i'm acutally going to need it. We were rearanging the living end of the boat yesterday and all the items that i'm completed so far were in what I thought was a safe place. Well one of them wasn't and ended up getting marked but should be salvageable.

Apart from that i've had so much fun doing this swap. I've tried new things and done old things that I forgot I could do! Smiley

I've just started something i've never tried before but now I'm thinking I really should have tried this sooner when I had time to do something else if it doesn't work. Ah well it wouldn't feel right if i didn't leave things to the last minute. Wink
18  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: My DIY 50's style Wedding Dress is done!!!! (UPDATE: I have wedding photos!) on: September 14, 2009 03:30:18 AM
Wow! wow! wow! I love everything about your dress! Tongue
I love your dress so much, i'm a little on the short side and always thought that traditional dresses would swamp me and would love something more 50's style but didn't really know how, well yours is just beautiful!

I love your shoes too and that you had your pics taken at a apple farm? Was this where you had the wedding/reception? I'm guessing I should just read back in the thread or your blog and I'd find these answers I think I just got a little over excited. Wink

ooh gallery photos!

I'm still alive and crafting, the MIL went back to UK on Monday and now my sis and Mum are popping over (UK to Canada lol) for a weeks holiday and get here Saturday, nice surprise, completely unexpected.  Shocked

I've never been so popular since emigrating!! thankfully I just have finishing off to do so no cramping my crafting mojo!!  Grin

So jelous! I really want to emigrate to Canada. Its all I think about some days...

Theme four: Slightly unsure as to whether or not to go ahead with original plans as my partners fabric allergy is more wide ranging than I realised but she also said that she only buys man made stuff for t shirts underwear and her materials for crafting with so not sure if this item would be a problem :s

Not sure what I wrote in the original message but my allergies are to man made fibers. So I don't buy man made stuff that will be worn next to my skin ie t-shirts, socks undies.

Hope that clears things up a bit!

I'm afraid to say I had a self indugent rare weekend off crafting for me. I reconed two t-shirts which look awesome (even if I do say so myself Embarrassed) turned up a couple of pairs of new wide leg trousers and almost finished crocheting my first cardie and even found one of my great grandmas vintage buttons to go on it.

No worries though. I have a trip to london crafty shops tomorrow and the week off next week so I will be full steam ahead crafting for you for the final push to get everything done!!
