I recieved from my Angel KrisCreates!! Get ready to wist!

First, two jersey scarves in the Joker's colours, some Joker coloured candy, and some Batman stickers that glow in the dark!

Then, a box with decoupaged pictures from 'The Killing Joke', a dominoe neckalce and earring set with one Batman earring, one Joker earring, and a pendant wih both of them (also from 'The Killing Joke'), and a pair of Bat signal earrings!

Aannd a 'Why So Serious?' shirt that fits wonderfully!

A Vintage Bat symbol purse with flame interior and interior pocket! Also, the bottom has something in it so that the purse stands up, but I'm not sure what that's called!

And lastly;

...a Bat Sock Monkey!!! He's my new best friend and has found a new home on my computer monitor!! My mom wants to steal him, so I'll have to guard him carefully!!!

Thank you, KrisCreates!!!!

Prepare your wists, folks, because murbeck sent me the most amazing package!!!! The pictures came out a bit wonky because the lighting in my basement is awful, but the rest of the house is being renovated and I didn't want anything to get damaged!!

First, for Talk Like Shakespeare Day, a 'Bard to the Bone' tote bag covered in Shakepearean insults!!

Then, for High Five Day, a raglan t-shirt that says 'Free High Fives' on it (I seriously cannot wait to wear this in public!!)

Finally, for Pie Day, a plate with a picture of pie on it and the words 'Happiness Pie' aound the rim!! Happiness pie is my favorite Smiley !!

Thank you so much, murbeck, I love everything!!!!

If there is a spot of any kind, it might be due to a failed attempt at using iron-on transfers, in which case it will wash out! I'm so glad everything made it safely!!!

I...I...I do not have words to properly express how badly I want one of these right now. My heart is singing with geeky love for this hoodie. In the immortal words of Jim Carrey (as the Riddler, of course!); JOYGASM!!
19  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Elizabeth Bennet Zombie Slayer costume ideas? on: October 23, 2009 03:06:02 PM
I like the idea of the tall riding boots and breeches, but I also like the idea of the long empire dress and weapons...hmm, perhaps a happy medium, then? I think an empire dress with the skirts ripped off somewhere around mid-thigh with breeches and tall riding boots underneath might work, with the addition of weapons-a-plenty, of course! And, it wouldn't be a zombie-fighting costume without some blood splatters! Hope that helps!
20  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Question for all you Canadians out there! on: October 22, 2009 01:30:24 PM
Gah! I'm having a minor meltdown, here. Why?

I can't find a pair of bright green and black striped tights anywhere.

I've checked all the local costume shops and the Bargain Shop, but I can't find any. This seems silly to me, because aren't they a traditonal piece of a witch costume? The big problem is that I live in a small town, so small that we're close neighbours with Nowhere, so I don't have access to a lot of specialty stores, but maybe all you wonderful craftsters can help me. You see, I would just oder them online, but the only shops that seem to be selling them are American and they all want to charge me $20 shipping to send me a $5 product!!

So, has anyone seen a pair of bright green an black striped tights anywhere in a Canadian store?!
