I'm in!  I need to work on making a list.  My goals this year are to be frugal, eco friendly, and make this year's holiday and birthday gifts.

Thought about a list for Holiday Presents, still needs work:

2.  Dad - N-Scale train scene
3.  Mom2 - tea kit - scones, spoon, tea cup, tea, homemade jam
4.  Dad2 - Eagles - painting?
5.  Grandma B - Quilted shopping bag

6.  Grandma T - likes violet
7.  Chris - Guitar Hero guitar strap (Beatles) or Beatles painting
8.  Mike - ?
9.  Amy - Decoupage Sucrets container with matching key fob
10. KT - Clutch

11. David - KC quilted flag
12. Mike2 - Tea Wallet

13. Alicia - ?
14. Max - ?
15. Michaela - Monkey board game

16. Aaron - hotwheels playset makeover
17. Emily - Princess board game
18. Tanya - ?
19. Canning - Veggies from garden
20. Canning - homemade jams (blueberry & raspberry)
21. Reusable Pads - Made 10

22. Cloth Book Cover for my 2010 Calendar
23. Reusable Swiffer mop and duster out of scraps.

24. A mini "cooler" for my yogurt so I don't have to carry a huge cooler bag for such a small item.

2  Re: Samhain/Halloween WWP Round 15 Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by FREYA369 on: October 25, 2009 06:04:25 PM
I received my package from Hawkeyes_girl!  She really spoiled me!  I requested altar decorations for Samhain, a mask, wall decorations for the 4 elements, and well I don't want to give it away so you'll just have to wait and see...!

First a picture of everything all wrapped up...I love when I get to unwrap.  It is so fun and exciting like it's my birthday.

I started unwrapping and look what I found...cute little pumpkins for my altar!  She made them out of a sweater and knitted? the top.  That reminds me!  A lot of the items she made had materials that she upcycled.  That is totally awesome and really helps the environment!

Next thing I opened was a bag of cinnamon smelling pumpkin cutouts.  They made the whole box of goodies smell really good.

Next is 2 pairs of homemade "footsies" for my daughter and I.  They are really soft and warm and my daughter was crazy happy about receiving something.  You can even see her feet in some of the photos because she is taking off her shoes to get ready to put them on.  I must have forgotten to take a pic of mine.  They are blue.

Next, she sent me some beautiful pressed leaves to put on my altar, some poprocks which my daughter totally stole from me, and this elixir/potion kit.

So, I have to admit...sometimes I get the directions mixed up mid-ritual so I asked for some wall decorations for the four elements to help me out.  This is what she sent. Grin

I've had a thing for those tree of life pendents and guess what Hawkeyes made me!  A Freya's necklace version.  It is so beautiful.  She also made me this lovely charm bracelet.

I really needed a mask for this Halloween and intuitively Hawkeyes_girl made this mask.  It is blue and green and has peacock feathers.  Which are my fave colors and fave bird!   Cheesy

I told you she spoiled me...there's more!

I love those ritual kits at my favorite newage store but they are like $40 so I asked Hawkeyes if she could make me one.  She came up with a Samhain ritual that she wrote herself and it came with a bag of ritual items!  It's very beautiful and I can't wait until Samhain to try it out!

Last but not least, she made made me a altar cloth with a crescent moon.

I wanted to show you before and afters of my altar.  Pardon the "mess" on the before.  I had purchased some new items and the Mystic Fest and they were haphazardly laid about.

Now, here is after I put all of my new goodies from Hawkeyes out.  Doesn't it look great and festive!

Thank you so much Hawkeyes_girl!

3  Re: WWP Swap Round 14, Shrine N Stuff! Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by FREYA369 on: September 20, 2009 12:13:41 PM
Sorry everyone, I said I would post a while ago and I've been dealing with some issues.  Thank you for your patience!

Ronda really spoiled me!  I love the shrine she made!  Here is the outside.  I requested one that I could take on business trips with me to give courage and such while I do presentations.  It is about 6 inches by 4 inches, the perfect size.

She chose to use Freya as the Diety which is perfect!  Here is the right side of the shrine.

And the left.  On the back there is information about Freya.  I love all the trinkets glued around it.  I especially like the bottom with the kitty and the bowl where you can place a stone (pictured is a garnet).

Here is a picture of both sides together.  I really love this and can't wait to take it with me for my next trip!

Ronda also sent me some beautiful fabrics:

She also sent some stones.  These are the first ones I've gotten and can't wait to use them in spellwork!  Here's a list of them: black tourmaline, kyanite, selenite, rutilated quartz, gold rutiles, red jasper, red tiger eye, carnelian, citrine, tiger eye, unakite, blue lace agate, blue tiger eye, amethyst, lepidolite, botwana agate, crystal quartz, amber, and garnet.

Lastly, she sent me a TON of candles because I was getting low.  Here are the bigger ones:

And here are the smaller ones:

Thank you SO MUCH Ronda!  I LOVE everything!

4  Re: We Love our Blythes and Pullips Swap Round 7 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by FREYA369 on: July 15, 2009 08:07:01 PM
I am so excited to open the box of goodies from Carrie!  It is Kaeli's first swap!  What's inside the box?

OMG!  It's a gorgeous chase lounge in the most perfect fabric!  Love it Love it!  And a bunch of individually wrapped gifts for Kaeli!  She can't wait to open them!

She practically sprinted to the lounge and said, "Give me a present!"

She opened everything and found a 2 very pretty dresses.  They were so well made.  I think I even saw french seams and they were lined with coordinating fabric!  There were also a very cute pair of sandals and blue hair clips.  The really cool thing was that they were all coordinating!  Kaeli loves mix and match!

Here she is in the very cute blue and brown dress!

And here is the way cool multi colored leopard print dress!  Kaeli's favorite for sure!

Thank you very much Carrie for making Kaeli and I's first swap a fabulous one!  Everything is so wonderful and I could tell you spent a lot of time on these items to make them extra special.  Thank you!
