Lorna,  I guess this is a little late.  You're probably all settled in already.  We are pretty lucky with the crafty stores here.  Fabrika is downtown and awesome.  I've head good things about Wildfibre but have always been too poor to go in (I have no will-power.  It's better for my wallet to just not go) Plus there's a michaels, an A.C. Moore, JoAnns and a Hancock fabroc in town.  I think Fabrika does classes, but I'm not sure.  They have a facebook though, so you should check it.

Treb, sorry if this is a late reply.  I just saw that you's posted.  Fabrika is downtown on the corner of Abercorn and Oglethorp right across from that big cemetery.  The store is awesome.  They have Amy Butler and Anna Marie Horner fabrics.  It's owned by a Scad Grad as far as I know.

Thanks Trebleclef.  I also just found Fabrika downtown.  Awesome fabric store.

I moved to Savannah about few months ago, but with work and such am just now really starting to look around for crafty goodness.  I noticed that all the Savannah posts were at least a year old.  Is there anything current happening in Savannah as far as crafty goes?

I'm a crocheter/novice knitter/sewer/tinkerer in my late twenties.
