He is so sweet:D
I love making sock monsters when im feeling a little uninspired. I started with my friends copy of Stupid Sock Creatures and have gone from there. So long as they hold together, it doesn't matter what they look like, and I usually have a few requests from friends for them:)

He is super cute!
He also looks a lot like Vegesaurus from Urban Threads. I have just finished sewing him up for my Nephew. What a brilliant idea this is though:D
8  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: How do I transfer a pattern? on: June 21, 2009 12:51:58 PM
I am really bad and I use my laptop screen as a lightbox to sketch out designs  Lips sealed I'm sure it doesn't do my screen any good, but works like a charm on the fabric. I either draw straight onto the fabric, or I use a piece of scrap paper to make a reusable pattern for felt models. I've never really thought of using carbon paper. I might give it a try.

10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Dresses made from rubbish on: April 21, 2009 02:18:25 AM
Heee, I work at Sainsburys and over summer last year we were allowed to dress up. One of the ladies made a dress from our carrier bags. It looked ace. Another store made a proper gown from them, with puff sleeves and a train, which was beautiful but unwearable.
Great work! I love the robot dog in your finnished peice too:)
