6  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Crochet for Christmas - I need some ideas! on: September 07, 2009 06:21:04 AM
I love this site : http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory.php they have a bunch of categories, and it's all free. I found a ton of gift ideas on that sight. One thing I like to make that is cheap and always appreciated for adults is a bathing basket. I usually put in a bath mitt, some washcloths, and some face scrubbies, and a soap saver. I can usually finish a basket in a half day or so. Hope this helps! And happy crafting!
7  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: yarn over - question. on: September 07, 2009 06:17:15 AM
I yarn over with the yarn from the back of the hook, I don't know if it would look any different if you yarn over from the front. But I was taught to keep the yarn in the back of the work. Hope this Helps.
8  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Crochet spirals and stitch marker question on: August 31, 2009 06:49:49 AM
Your last stitch should be in your round marker. Also most spiral patterns increase by the number you start with. So if the pattern started with 6 sc in magic loop, then the other rows should be 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, etc.
