1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Discussion and Questions / Re: Can you use stoneware clay to make a 1-2 inch butterfly? on: February 24, 2010 04:24:34 PM
I guess my only suggestion would be to make sure you make it a bit bigger than you intend the finished product to be.  Between the bisque and glaze fires, stoneware tends to lose a lot of its size.
2  CRAFTSTER CRAFT CHALLENGES / Craftster Craft Challenges / Re: Craft Challenge #43 - Drinking Straw Makeover - Due Oct 1 - Oct 5 2009 on: September 06, 2009 02:34:02 PM
lol.  This is perfect, because I actually BOUGHT some straws and stuff to use in the last challenge, but first few weeks of school+new job+new ferret+major procrastination+all kinds of other stuff kept me from entering... So, cool!
3  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: FO: color bar blanket on: April 13, 2009 04:02:22 PM
That looks great!  I'm making this one right now, too, for my sister in law.  I had to sub a few different colors though, lol, cause i'm too poor to buy as much yarn as I'd really like haha. Great stuff!
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: A beanie with a bill. Inspired by newsboy, rasta, cabbie caps. Now w/tut &pics on: March 19, 2009 10:56:35 PM
Ahh!!! I am so glad I found this tute!  I have been looking for an easy to follow hat with brim pattern FOREVER! My attempts at making a few did not turn out quite so well, mostly because the brims were all crazy and no one ever happened to mention that stitching the brim directly to the edge of the hat would be a BAD idea lol.  I just made this hat, and your directions were so easy to follow!  Thanks so much!  I'll try to post a pic sometime!
