Wow! I'm a huge 11th doctor fan as well and would LOVE to have that. I think you recreated it perfectly.

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Where do you buy your zippers? on: March 12, 2011 10:39:21 PM
Hi everyone!

Just got into bag making, love it! I'm currently working on my first messenger bag and will post it when I'm finished.

I love having lots of zippered compartments in my bags, but have found that zippers, especially the heavy duty ones, are ridiculously expensive (I looooove Costumers brand zippers, but they're not cheap!). I waited until all notions were 50% at my local sewing store to get some for my most recent project, but I would like to find a place online where I can start buying them at a reasonable price. Any suggestions?

OMG! That is absolutely amazing, I love all the little details you added.
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Custom Kitchenaid Mixer: Hawaii 5-0 Edition (lots o' pics!) on: January 10, 2011 02:29:19 PM
That is amazing.... I want to do it to my almost-brand new boring white kitchen aid. I'm pretty sure my boyfriend would murder me though, seeing he spent an arm and a leg on it for my Christmas present.
5  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Peacock Chinese Coin Quilt on: December 21, 2010 12:17:12 PM
I just love this, everything from the pattern, the colours, the backing fabric, and the quilting work together perfectly. You have one lucky auntie!
6  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / My first quilt top (African Themed, woot!), suggestions please on: December 20, 2010 11:10:19 PM
So I finally semi-finished my first quilt top. I used a variety of African themed fabrics and overall I'm fairly pleased with how it turned out (Lots of mistakes, but the overall effect is nice no?).

However, now I'm stumped on how to continue, I want to add a border so its a bit larger, but I'm not sure what I want to do with it. I need an idea thats reasonably easy to execute that will complement the theme well. Suggestions?

Thanks in Advance!

Adorable little poodle plush you made. A great way to remember Annie.
8  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Red Coasters and Bouv Profiles on: November 14, 2010 10:32:24 PM
I absolutely love both of these projects. I would love to have coasters just like that.

I also love the bouv profiles. They have such a perfect outline. Have you ever considered doing other breeds?
9  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Purple Horse, of course on: July 30, 2010 11:23:28 AM
Adorable, I would have LOVED one of those as a kid.

I can't seem to get the link to the pattern to work though :-(
10  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: DNA potholders on: April 20, 2010 10:21:55 AM
Those are awesome! Good job.

Where did you find that amazing DNA fabric? Just finishing my undergrad in bio focusing on genetics, and I need to get some of that!
