I got my pacakge from rocknroll on Friday!  And it is awesome.  Check my goodies:

That's a bath ready marmont/ferret, and a Foldgers can filled with, not Donny's ashes but a fab nacklace with bowling pins and scissors, a Jesus dance flipbook, green nail polish and a Credence mix tape, of course.

But this is the best, my very own El Duderino bowling shirt!

Isn't that embroidery amazing!  Kudos to rocknroll on her talent!  And yes, that's Larry's homework there.
Here's the front of the shirt with El Duderino stiched in.  I wore the shirt right away.

Thank you!!!!!!  It's the best rocknroll!

I love this idea!  I saw it in a issue of Budget Living too.  You can use lots of different things as bases, like candle holders, mugs, vases, etc.  Here's a version I did with a ceramic mug and plate from the thrift store for a different look.  I did another one with a plate and candle holder from the dollar store.

After the magic of E600:

Yay cake!

3  Felt coasters in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by msmeow on: March 06, 2006 04:08:59 PM
I have lots of felt scraps let over from felting sweaters, so I thought I make some coasters.  The felted sweaters are great because they repel water naturally.
I just cut out circles and then sewed some smaller circles of patterned cotton fabric on top, this stuff is some cute diner fabric.

I'd use some interfacing in between the felt and the cotton next time.

Here are my goods from Cakelady!  I love the pillow case, so cute.  And I, umm, loved all the chocolate.  It's all gone  Cry  I'm totally insipred to try making my own chocolate lollipops now.

Whew!  That chocolate wiped me out!

I got my package from lady4feet today!  It was such a nice Monday present.  She sent so much stuff, lots of fabric.  Some gorgeous paper and stickers that I think I'll use to make some Valentines.  Buttons, a pattern, lots of bottle caps, and so much more.  Thanks!  My cats were very interested in the box too.

6  Old Jeans and Old Sweaters Pillow in CHALLENGE 7 ENTRIES by msmeow on: November 07, 2005 02:59:14 PM
Nothing complicated here.  I just took two pairs of old jeans of two different shades and made a pillow.  I also used some old sweaters I just felted for some decoration. The front and back have different patterns.  On the front the felt is inset.  On the back it is appliqued.

It could go with the jeans headboard and the jean blanket--it could be a whole jean bedroom!

Here is my wonderful package from beadgirl!  Everything is in the picture except for a lovely varied tones of pink bracelet.  I put it on right away and I'm still wearing it! The paper underneath with all the logos are actually stickers.  I have to figure out where to stick them all! Thanks again!  And I think everyone should be jealous of my Chris in the morning notepad.

Sorry about the double post.  Just wanted to post pics.

Here's what I got from stellato_escuro:

I love all the seed packets.  And I believe all the little FIMO creations are plant labels (correct me if I'm wrong!)  And since I can't knit, i'm impressed with the knitted hot pad.  My kitty is probably going to adopt the mini kitty.  Thanks!

9  Tote bag for my mom in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by msmeow on: June 13, 2005 05:04:09 PM
So here is a simple tote bag I made for my mom.  It's not fabric I would necessarily choose for myself, but I think she'll like it.  The lining is a light, pale blue. Thanks for looking!
