1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Rejection? Nah. on: May 16, 2005 04:39:43 PM
Ok, I've been reading through the S'n'B Crochet thread, and it sounds like people have a ton of great ideas for patterns. Why wait to share them? Every one is always looking for new unique patterns, and those who make them are looking for a little recognition as well.

Please post your ideas and/or patterns that have been "rejected", complete with a story of how it was created (if applicable)
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / I love the beach... on: March 21, 2005 12:04:05 PM
I live by the coast, so there is an endless source of free materials for crafting, which is really good. Anyway, I live in a pretty artsy town, so I've been making jewlery to sell at the little shops downtown. The earrings and bracelet were really easy, you just drill a little hole near the top and add a jump ring for earrings, or use foxtail wire and crimping beads for a bracelet.

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Not too impressive... on: January 25, 2005 09:17:42 PM
Yeah..so my first contribution to craftster is rather pathetic. But this is my first lined purse, so I guess I have an excuse. This is mostly practice, I'm planning to make purses for a "business"

Umm..the lining is an old orange T-shirt, and the outside is a chopped up navy sweatshirt from amvets. Gosh I love that place. The handles are a black and white horizontal strip grosgrain ribbon (that was a mouthful!)
