1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / A new prayer flag swap? on: February 07, 2016 03:57:43 AM
I haven't seen a prayer flag swap for a while. Mine from last year are floating away and I'd like some new ones to add to my courtyard.

I would be interested if someone organised this. Smiley
2  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Hawaiian Quilt Bag on: January 17, 2015 06:48:53 AM
I made this for Grab a Coffee in the mini 12 days of Christmas swap.

It is my first step in hawaiian quilting and I was reluctant to give it away.

I hand quilted the appliqued pattern - it took forever! Then I used the machine on the black and on the back of the bag. There were many learnings to be had from this experience.

I bought a book to get the pattern and it has quite a few templates, so I hope I will be trying out more this year.

3  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / new swap - early notifications list on: September 10, 2013 02:07:05 PM
I have a question.

So, there are a billion swaps that I would like to join, but for one reason or another I can't on this round.

Is there a way of creating a list of 'next timers' that could be informed when the next round starts?

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Black / white flowery dress on: June 20, 2013 10:43:02 AM
I made this, had to handsew the zip because my zipper foot is a bit bonkers and makes the tension go loopy:

Note to self; probably could do with tidying Smiley
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / New Pinny on: November 02, 2010 01:48:12 PM
So, I have mostly been lurking and admiring the lovely items on here (& wishing I could make things as well!)

On another forum, a pinny challenge was set so I joined in and made this for one of the other posters:

I am really pleased with it and fortunately the recipient liked it too.
It is reversible, with an autumnal print on one side and a flowery pattern on the other.  (Apologies for the photo quality, they were by the recipient who had trouble with camera)
