I love these jeans! I made similar ones for myself from a 1974 "Fr Sie" (For Her, a german womens magazine). I keep those old patterns like a treasure.

I made the hole with an ordinary puncher before I started drawing and positioned his head/the collage beneath the hole so that there would be enough space. I cut it with a sharp nail scissor and a scalpel but I think an x-acto knife with a fresh blade would work as well.

I sanded one side of the plastic with extra fine sandpaper (800) and then just used a pencil (HB) and crayon for some details.
25  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / sweet dreams with the melvins - pillow (its magic.... hooooooudini) on: June 14, 2009 09:03:55 AM

Besides this being what it is, a pillow, I want to tell why it is how it is.
It's my little brothers birthday in a few days and I was like shit! I have no time to craft something. So I ordered the houdini cd (by the melvins) and had it ship right to his place. Then, yesterday evening, I thought it was really poor to just get a CD from a mailorder and I wanted to make him a little gift related birthday card. Why not applique it? So I started and when it was almost done after some hours I knew it had to become a pillow. If I knew that before I probably wouldnt have used black zigzag stitch all over. But anyway, I like it and how by some kind of magic there wastime to craft something for my little brothers birthday. Thank you, Mr. Houdini!

And a closeup:

(uhm, yeah... the boys hair does look strange on the right)

and for those who dont know the melvins and or their album houdini:

Step 1 - small collage

Step 2 - drawing unshrinked

Step 3 - the shrink

Step 4 - wear it

I almost forgot to say, that this made from shrink plastic, of course

27  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: naughty lip balm holder (img heavy) on: March 18, 2009 04:12:47 AM
Haha. Could also be funny if the balm was on the glans end and you had to draw back the foreskin.
Sorry, if this comment is too obscene, but your pics made my mind go crazy...

Well, if there was a place on craftster for a crafty dictionary, I'd definitly help to put it up and use it.
And thanks for your nice comments.
