1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Knitting with arthritis - fixed! on: October 26, 2010 10:25:47 PM
Today I discovered square knitting needles, and I'm never looking back! I'm not sure why, but they are made this way for people with arthritis. I was a bit doubtful, but I've been knitting all evening and my fingers do not hurt a bit! Well worth the extra $$
2  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / New Lapidary artist from IL on: May 04, 2010 08:52:42 AM
Hi! I've been lurking here for a while, and I've finally decided it would be fun to participate! I'm Laura, I'm a mother of 4 and I love all sorts of arts and crafts. My main love right now is stone cutting, I cut cabochons for jewelers. It's very exciting to me when I can see what my rock inspired in someone else's work!
3  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Love to make it, Hate to sell it! on: February 15, 2009 09:00:08 AM
I am looking for ways to get my product out there without hours and hours of taking pictures, networking, approaching stores, and all that miserable stuff. Does anyone know anything about sales reps or other ideas for getting someone else to market my product? My website is http://laurasjewelry.synthasite.com for an idea of my product.
Thanks!
Laura
