3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Toothless crossbody purse on: December 29, 2012 03:41:11 PM

This was our daughter's BIG Christmas gift this year. Big meaning most labor intensive. She is currently obsessed with How to Train your Dragon. I made the straps really long so she can wear it cross body. The whole thing is lined with some reptile like fabric -spandex in nature to stretch with the knitting. The project was done on round looms. Threw the little fish in for fun Wink

6  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / MP embeds in OP-CP ??? on: October 03, 2012 10:37:43 AM
Wanted to try something new. Anybody else using MP embeds in their Oven processed CP soap? I wanted to play around with putting some 'transparent' MP embeds in my CP soap but I usually Oven process it and am wondering if it will turn out okay - I don't want to waste a whole 'loaf' experimenting. Anyone have any experience with mixing MP and OP-CP ? My kids are getting in on the soap-making and I'm excited they are getting involved- using the MP allows me to let them get creative while leaving the OP-CP stuff to me~
7  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Altoids Gift Tins on: August 02, 2012 04:56:40 PM
I've been thinking about making some of these for my daughter's ballet class- but I just can't believe that mine would turn out so nice. How on earth do you get the edges on the top so nice and even. Just beautiful ! I was hoping to put a magnet on the inside bottom to hold hair pins - but I like your chocolate idea much better ! Thanks for the inspiration.
