1  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Apple Pizza on: October 01, 2005 01:54:41 PM
This is one of my Favorite things to make and it is so easy!
Apple Pizza
5 Granny Smith Apples; cored, sliced and peeled (if you don't want the peelings)
rolled pie crust (I use any store brand that is in a box or just rolled)
little bit of Cinnamon
walnuts (optional)

1/2 c sugar or splenda
1/2 c flour
1/2 c COLD butter or mar. (I use unsalted butter)
Mix everything together until very crumbly.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Put Pie crust on pizza pan or stone (I have always used a pizza stone), put apples on pie crust, I usually put in a circular pattern, sprinkle Cinnamon over top, then the topping.  Bake for about 40 min or until the topping is light brown.

This was an old PC recipe.  It was always a big hit wherever I make it and took it.
2  COOKING / Dessert / Gifts in a Jar on: November 29, 2004 09:23:59 PM
Hello everyone,
I was hoping some of you could help me find or offer some good recipes to make Gifts in a Jar.  I have a few I found on the internet but some just didn't taste that great.   Undecided Was hoping to do a lot for Christmas gift baskets and this would be a nice thing to add to the basket.  If anyone can help, I would be VERY thankful!    Grin

Thanks in advance!
