21  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Discussion and Questions / Re: Scrapbooking computer program on: December 27, 2004 02:11:15 PM
many of these programs are essentially designed for use with an oversized printer (one that can print up to 13x13 pages).  My first guess would be that the paper size you are designing on is larger than you can print with your printer.  Good luck!

I've never really been a fan of wristbands, however your post has given me some great ideas to make some for myself!  I am inspired and a new fan of wristbands.  Smiley
23  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re:hardcover notebook on: April 13, 2004 03:17:32 PM
I like the idea of gluing leftover sheets of notepaper over the existing pages instead of rebinding for a little idea book like this.  I too carry around a little notebook wherever I go.....it's so handy!  When my current one is full, I might give this project a try! Smiley
24  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re:Decoration ideas needed for formal event on: April 04, 2004 09:40:26 PM
I've seen a lot of people use bowls with floating candles and sparkly confetti as centerpieces.  Those might be easier to create and transport than live flowers.  You could even do a group of smaller bowls with only a couple of candles in each.

Oooh, I like the idea of a mr potato head type face!
26  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Felt play board on: April 04, 2004 07:44:14 AM
I'm going to make one of those felt play boards for my friend's toddler.  I plan on making a bunch of different pieces, some that are fun to play with now, some that will be educational, and some that he will "grow into."

Have any of you made something like this before?  Any pointers or ideas to share?  I'm going to do sets of pieces like people and clothes, letters, numbers, shapes.  Any other suggestions?

Here are three craftster threads that already exist on corsets that were found using the search feature at the top of the page.  Good luck!

29  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re:snazzy lined messenger bag on: April 01, 2004 09:45:42 AM
Looks great!  I really like the contrast in fabric textures between the lining and outside.
30  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re:Musty Smell on: March 31, 2004 11:22:01 PM
I haven't tried this, but mom claims that if your make a baking soda paste (just soda and water) and put it in some sealed container (like a big rubbermaid tote) with the record sleeves the smell should be gone in a couple of days.
