Last night I cast on and finished this hat super fast because I didn't want today to be ruined by bad hair day  Wink

23  Star Crossed NOT Slouchy Beret... in Knitting: Completed Projects by tinybits on: January 13, 2013 10:04:56 AM
Yesterday I whipped up this hat while I was watching Vampire Diaries (and some Parenthood episodes) very quick for today's bad hair day.

The pattern is star crossed slouchy beret, but it did not get slouchy at all. The designer suggests worsted weight yarn and mine was bulky but it came out like a beanie size. But i love it and it is a great alternative to bad hair.

27  Bohemian Dreamcatcher in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by tinybits on: January 08, 2013 05:15:52 AM
I am not sure if I am posting this on the right board but here I go!

I have a spare room in my flat that I plan to use as a craft room and guest room and I decided to decorate it as bohemian. I have lots of ideas for that room ( see my pinterest  board full of ideas here)

I made this dream catcher using the green material they wrap the spinach bundles with in the farmer's market, I am glad to find a use for it, they are pretty bendable. The middle is crocheted using a vintage thread.

I am hoping the grean material will last or brown in a nice way without detoriating..

28  Jewelry for myself, chainmaille charm bracelet and wood necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by tinybits on: January 08, 2013 05:06:20 AM
Creating jewelry to sell is fun but creating jewelry for yourself is more fun. I did these with leftover/not good enough to sell supplies I had lying around.

The charm bracelet is a far cry from what I am normally doing for my own jewelry line but it is cute for myself as everyday jewelry:

And these is the necklace I made using wood seed beads. I have one shorter back at home so I will be layering this with that one:

i realy like the wood seed beads, they are so lightweight and  instant bohemian/boho touch.

29  Beaded Heart in Needlework: Completed Projects by tinybits on: January 08, 2013 04:59:29 AM
I made this a few years back when I was not active on craftster and forgot the post here. Today while I was photographing my process for 50 in 2013 projects I thought it would be nice to post it here.

This was supposed to be a part of yearlong  craftalong but I guess I choose a wrong size project that made it impossible to go on for a year. This took me alot of time. In the second photo you can see how intense is the beading..

Overall I really like this project, it adds a personal touch to other wise bare walls of my father's home.

I really have to participate in this one. Couple of years ago i got my husband and I small notebooks to fill in for each other to exchange it later. mine is still empty and he is about to come home... I suck at creativity but we'll see...
