I broke my ankle recently so I have had a bit to much free time to work on things. This t-shirt was something I have wanted to make for awhile and I am very pleased with how it turned out. I did some iron ons onto some old pillow case material and then stiched those onto the shirt with some white thread (which doesnt show in the picture). the connecting line is some sort of white chord I found I just used a thick needle.

It is a bit hard to see the graphic because of the crappy picture but here is the original drawing that I did.

anyways it was a fun project...should be fun to wash to  Undecided

Yep I got my free crutches...along with a bill haha.

Thanks for the link I might try that. I tried makign some covers out of old foam and some cover material but they ended up being to bulky and I got some phantastik rashes.

Ill look into the sheepskin thing to.
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Slappers (you know those braclets) on: January 08, 2005 12:32:53 PM
Hi. Th other day I found one of those old slappers braclets. You know the funky ones made of some sort of metal. It light and stiff and when you slapped it on your arm it would wrap around your wrist.

I think these things are still prettys cool haha and I was wondering if anyone knew what type of metal they were made of or how exactly they worked It would be very cool to make your very own slappers though Im not sure how possible that would be.

Any Ideas or info would be appreciated Smiley

EDIT:

Crap this was suppose to go under jewlery and trinkets Could a moderator please move it for me!
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Re: PUNK SHUI on: January 07, 2005 08:25:19 AM
hmmm...I think it's a bit much to call it feng-shui. Nothing wrong with customizing a space to make you happy but its not really feng shui.

I love the photos though, that is the type of house I can imagine myself living in.
8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Help make my crutches better! on: January 07, 2005 08:22:26 AM
Hi everyone. I recently broke the heck out of my ankle snowboarding and thought all your crafty folk might have some Ideas for me.

My main problem is that crutches straight up suck. The chaffe, they hurt, they are loud and ugly. Anyone ever added padding to there crutches or fixed them up at all? Made them look all swank and cool...haha.

Anyways anyone who has any experiance on crutches knows how much of a pain they are and any improvments I can use would be greatlly appreciated!

Thanks!

I did this a while ago ( though I obviously did not put in as much effort as you did ) Sorry for the poor quality pictures and yes that is astro turf.

I should have taken better pictures I guess because the stripes down the middle look pretty ugly bent like that, sorry.
