221  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Old CDs / AOL CDs / AOL CD Cases on: February 06, 2009 01:09:17 PM
Wow, it's just awsome how many ideas there are concernign the CDs. I always wondered what to do with them too, but the "brightest" idea was to give them to kids. I'd love to cut somehting out of them like stars or new year's trees, but I don't know how to do it for the disks not to crack.

My husband uses them as stands for different things - starting with cups and finishing with home decor. For example, he glued the Sahara Rose (wierd salty rocks) we brought from Tunisia on a CD.

Hello and best wishes to all Crafters!
I am new here, but hope I have finally found a place in the internet where I can show some of my works and have a friendly talk with people, who are interested in creating something beautiful.

I would like to share with you my hobby of making fabric flowers, mostly for interior decoration. I really hope to get some feedbacks from you, crafters, to see whether what I do may be liked by other people.

I have also just started my blog http://fabric-flowers.blogspot.com/. So,
these are some of my recent works. I am greatful to all views and feedbacks to my post.
