231  Partial Skein Buster Blanket in Crochet: Completed Projects by PixieVal on: December 05, 2009 08:50:14 PM
Made this blanket for my Mother In Law for Christmas. excuse some of the pictures(I didn't get to make sure it was totally flat), I was trying to snap them as a bunch of guys stood in snowy boots a couple feet away waiting for me to move so they coud get by! All the yarn I used were partial skeins that I had nothing else to do with. It was a good way to get rid of a lot of my extreme supply of yarn. Its big enough to cover me completely while I'm laying down.

234  Re: Are you ready for some football? Gallery in The Swap Gallery by PixieVal on: November 30, 2009 05:58:20 PM
I woke up all fluey this morning, so I didn't make it to the Post Office to mail, hopefully tomorrow. But as promised, my pictures of my awesome package from Crazyda79!!
Sorry no action shots as most of it will be hidden until Christmas!
We start with the cutest shirt(yay!) and GameCock Socks for my daughter! I am so excited to give her these on Christmas- She is going to look adorable in them, so you'll have to check back for new pictures after the holiday.

You did such an amazing job on the shirt!
Next is a cool embroided Gamecocks hat for my husband.

Check out all the cool extras. Window paint, stickers, a nightlight, trading cards, stickers!

2 football magnets, one for hubby, one for me!

Super soft fleece Colts scarf for me!

Huge GameCocks towell and washcloth for hubby. This will be in his gym bag I'm sure so he can show it off!

And finally, Coasters that she made in her glass blowing class! How lucky I feel to get something that is actually glass blown! How long did these take? The background is for both my team and my husband's team.

And the case that they are in incorporates both of our team's colors!

Thank you so much Crazyda79. This was an awesome swap, and an awesome package!![/glow]

My awesome box from Bhambaby arrived today!! My daughter started grabbing for absolutely everything saying "want it! want it!"
I finally gave in after I took the pics and gave her the wooden clothes pins which I think I'm going to decorate for her since she had so much fun playing with them for a while! Anyways, on to the pictures!
TONS of fabric! Lots of large pieces, and the smaller pieces have designs on them that are perfect for appliques.

Pattern books, a great embroidery stitch book, lots of books with images, and ribbons and binding tape.

Lots of embroidery floss, needles, and check out all the stamps! There are going to be perfect for ATCs(something I'm getting ready to try because I love paper art)

Purse handles, stitching fabric, paper crafties, buttons, tags, clear bubble things(I've used them before, just have NO idea what they are called), OH! And I am right now madly in love with the "trimies" and am trying to figure out what I want to use them on.

Lots of BIG buttons, and funky buttons. And this is awesome too, and slides slides slides! For a slide land I just saw a tutoril for on She's Crafty last month. They were her dh's grandmother's world travels, and others are from her dh's husband owned a pipe organ business.  It was really special to get something in this type of package that has so much meaning behind it!

Thank you so much BhamBaby for a kickass box!!
