I received an AMAZING package!!!! Sorry it has taken me a few days for pics but my sister got married!!! Her husband is deploying though for 14 months so the past few days we have been busy with family time.

Anyways my wonderful partner sent me 3 DIAPERS!!!!!

The first is a pocket with purple pul, snaps and the softest fabric inside!!! I LOVE this one!!!

Next is an all in one in a very cute flannel.

and finally a cover- very adorable!

She also sent an adorable stuffie that the twins have lost in the very messy playroom at the moment. It has little taggies on it- the baby loves it and so do her older siblings! We also received some lovely lotion. Thank you so much! This package was wonderful!

I received an awesome package!!!

First an awesome card

a bunch of Chinese Tea with reusable tea bags, (hmmmm?? I just realized the pic of the tea bags is missing? I must have forgot to take them)
3 ADORABLE zip pouches, my kids have each taken one - Ty's is his new puzzle bag ( he is obsessed with puzzles) and Kate uses her's for snacks (she is a snack queen!) Mine is housing my buisness cards! Thankyou!

2 very adorable pillow covers. They match my decor perfectly! The picture do not do justice. I have already had so many compliments on them!

Some adorable washcloths that are now in my 1/2 bath and she also sent some extra's I can use to make some more! My sister think's I am making her some now- haha! I told her ya sure add your name to the waiting list- I am the only person in my family who sew's.

Thankyou so, so much!

4  Retro Modern Play Kitchen in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by SpencerTwins2007 on: January 04, 2010 07:10:48 PM

This year for Christmas, my hubby and I decided to build our twins a play kitchen for Christmas. After looking around on the web I discovered so many really neat kitchen built out of Ikea parts. We had so much fun building this kitchen and seeing the joy on our children's face on Christmas made it that much better!

We started off with 10 pieces of wood that we purchased from the shelving department at Ikea. Hubby finally got to use some power tools that have been sitting around.

For the sink we used a metal mixing bowl and also our old kitchen faucet.

He built a combo unit that includes a stove with pull out drawer which is pictured here, sink and cupboard section and also dishwasher.

This is the dishwasher portion of the unit. The wire rack inside is a dish drain

Here is everything painted. We decided to paint the unit black and silver to give it a modern look. I used a retro looking fabric and some mod podge on the counter top to add some decor.

I forgot to take before pictures of the fridge but here is an after. We splurged a little here and purchased magnetic paint to add a realistic feel to the fridge.

A close up of the stove. Hubby added a piece of plexy glass to the stove a drawer underneath to store pots and pans in!

A close up of the inside of the stove. We added a wire cookie sheet purchased from the dollar store to the inside of the stove. I also purchased some metal pans as shown for the kids to bake cookies on. Don't they look almost as good as the real thing?
The fire you see is a felt grill set that we received in a swap. It gives the stove a warm feeling to it!

Close up of the 4 burners and a pot of noodles cooking on top of the stove!

A close up of the stove burner. I made these by painting a wooden circle purchased from the craft store black. I then added a square wooden dowel that hubby cut into smaller pieces. I super glued this down on top of the counter top.

A close up of the sink. The kids utensils are stored in a pencil cup from my office!

I wanted some sort of a hanging rack so I painted wooden crates I purchased from AC Moore black and then screwed them to the wall. I added some hooks from my craft board and voila! I also filled the crate with felt veggies!

Here is a close up of the counter top. I am LOVING mod podge!!! I used the hard version of it that is best for furniture! I really LOVING how this came out! The red board was purchased from Ikea. It is a sandwich plate but works here as a cutting board!

This is a close up of the inside of the cupboard that is underneath the sink. I purchased a silver ware organizer from Ikea and filled the cupboard with all their dishes and baking supplies!

The dishwasher!

I LOVE this! A Pottery barn mixer. I lucked out here because it was the floor model and the last one they had. It was marked down to $20 and they took 50% off because it had a few dinges!!!

This is the freezer. Hubby built shelves onto the doors. The kids have there felt food icecream displayed here.

He also built shelves into the fridge. I love that they now have somewhere to store all their play food!

Some close ups of the fridge. We added some handles that were purchased from Home depot.

An itsy bitsy play food original cake! I decided to paint the kids play table to match the kitchen set. It needed a bit of a face lift anyways. This table was also purchased from Ikea, it was originally white. I painted it black and added the fabric and mods podge to the seat portion of the chairs.

Here are some action pics of 2 of the shirts we received. I LOVE these! The other 3 are white and say J   O   Y for Christmas so I do not want the kids trying these on until picture time. I forgot to take a pic of these before I packed them away. Can my wonderful partner post a pic?

Kate received a wonderful package from Music Lady on Saturday. Sorry we are posting late, I have been so busy the past few days.

First a pic of them anxiously opening the box!

3 Adorable little animals she fell in love with instantly and didn't want to share with her twin brother!

Then a carmel apple to add to our felt food collection!

Next a superman cape with "K" in a princess crown.

And also some stickers and goodies! They loved the gel stickers that stick to the way and played with them for an hour before bed l;ast night before finally deciding on a spot to keep them Smiley

A memory game. I LOVE this and we have been playing with it everyday since we received it. Great learning tool!

Thankyou so much! We love everything!

9  Re: Play Food Sweat Shop Swap Dessert Gallery of Goodies! in The Swap Gallery by SpencerTwins2007 on: September 11, 2009 05:56:12 PM
Hi Ladies! I also want to apoligize for being MIA. This past week has been the busiest week of my life I swear! I have had so much going on, plus the kids are sick!!! My lovely husband had left my packages I asked him to ship for me in the car for a few days and I finally threatened him and told him I would not make his lunches for work or do his laundry until they were shipped Smiley so he went that day on his lunch. I apoligize 100 times over but his horible memory forgot to get DC # though I reminded him probably one million times!!!!! Please, please let me know if you do not receive and I will ship out another one asap. Again I am so sorry. I was so busy I didn't have a chance to get there myself.

Anyways I received from everyone but love2teah though I know its on its way!!! Here are some much deserved pics. Everything is amazing. I do have to apologize to Lady L as her candy was eaten up right away by the twins and her wonderful ice cream she sent is MIA!!! The twins have lost it somewhere in the house (they were fighting over it for hours the other day) and I can't seem to find it!
