1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Re: I love how this retro dress looks in the sun! on: May 05, 2010 07:14:31 PM
Beautiful dress! I love the fabric, in fact I have some of that in my fabric stash, but I haven't figured out what to do with it for exactly the reason that I can't see myself finding it comfortable for clothing. Nonetheless it is lovely and the colour combination is great  Smiley
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Sewing Pinup and Harley Quinn on: May 08, 2009 07:50:15 PM
Those are great, and I totally agree with the first one. Love the way you did the fishnets. Smiley
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: The shiny joys of a Pop Tab Prom Dress. on: May 05, 2009 06:29:32 PM
You and your dress are both beautiful, and I'm glad your prom was amazing Smiley
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Fairytale Skirt ((very gibbous inspired!) on: March 05, 2009 01:14:03 PM
Ok, so I had to go look up Gibbous after reading your post, and all I can say is that I understand why you've been lusting after them!  I adore that kind of thing, and I think you did a very nice job creating your own Gibbous inspired skirt, and I think I may have to take inspiration from you and create my own as well (because let's face it, we don't all have $150 to spend on a skirt!)
5  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Hakama and Kosode on: February 23, 2009 08:51:21 AM
Wow, very impressive!  Sewing a hakama has to be a challenge.  My mom and I once made a mini one for a bear and even that was extremely time consuming though it was small and simplified, so I can't even imagine sewing a proper one!
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: First real recon - Ramones on: February 19, 2009 08:22:07 PM
Very nice recon!  It's totally wearable, cute AND you still get to keep your 'old friend'.
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Slithering Slimy Steampunk... and others on: February 16, 2009 09:00:55 PM
Very nice! It's only recently that I've been really getting into this kind of clock workings as jewelry kind of thing, but I find I'm quite fond of them.  I particularly like the second piece, though I'm also partial to the ring at the end.
8  CLOTHING / Clothing Sewalongs / Re: Pollini Dress Sewalong? on: February 16, 2009 06:26:30 PM
I love that dress! It's super cute.  I would join you, but I don't happen to have access to a sewing machine at university, but thanks you for posting this because I will definitely keep that pattern in mind!

Good luck on your pattern sizing and sewing, I can't wait to see how it turns out.
9  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: We're all mad here....(My Alice in Wonderland-esque "sweet sixteen" tea party) on: February 16, 2009 10:50:53 AM
Ooh!  Looks like you put a lot of work in, and it looks great.  I love the group shots, looks like everyone had fun.  And Happy Birthday!
10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Firefly Cross Stitch. on: February 14, 2009 06:54:09 PM
Aww I love that show, and this is such a great piece of work!  I think the colours look just right too.
