have everyone ink up their hand and put it on archival paper.  They can pray while touching the paper and she can always hold their hand so to speak.   Or have them put their inked/painted hands on a blanket...so when she wraps it around her, it is a "laying on of hands".

God bless...and I will keep your friend in my prayers.

sure.  I can send it to your email.   My cat is shorthaired...but if I use my zoom lens, it may not make a difference! LOL!!!
3  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: 21 yards x 4" of yellow satin. what would you do? on: February 15, 2009 07:35:50 AM
Cut it into shapes for appliques?

Crazy quilt pieces?   Make puffy letters out of it, stuff them and spell things?

Can you post a pic?  I'm having a difficult time picturing them in my head.  Are they hard plastic?  Do they open? are they hollow?   Huh?

Wow...um...I have a shorthaired black cat...who loves to show her...hole.

I'll stalk her today and see what I can come up with.   Anything for the military folk!

I'd make a quilted wall hanging.  Embellish the fabric with paints and embroidery, maybe some glitter and charms.  Hang it next to a framed version of the poem.  What a lovely baby shower gift that would make!

you could get some cedar shavings from a pet store or wherever...put them inside, loads of them.

charcoal briquets also absorb odor, but the cedar sure smells nicer!
