21  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Turquoise Bunny on: March 01, 2009 12:45:50 PM
A long time ago I bought a bunny head and some paws.   Before you think that I am macabre and buying real bunny bits,  these are the stuffed kind made out of plush fabric.  They come without a body.

Any way I found them when looking through the stash and I decided that it was about time it had a body.  Everything I used to finish bunny came from the stash.

22  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / More coordinate craft desk accessories on: February 03, 2009 01:43:46 PM
A few may remember a ribbon holder that I made out of foam core and scrapbook paper back in October 2007.

Ribbon organiser post:  https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=201756.0

I had a heap of scrapbook paper left over from the ribbon organiser project. So I bought a desk/scrapbook organiser.  The organiser comes in precut MDF that you have to assemble yourself.   Some paint, paper and glue later, I have a matching organiser to go with my ribbon holder.

I still had some more of the scrapbooking paper left so I made myself a little desk cubby from foam core.   Using the same techniques as I used in the ribbon holder.

23  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Another creepy house ATC holder. on: January 30, 2009 10:28:58 PM
I hope I made it in time.

Column A - Postcard
Column B - sheet music, brown paper bag.

Made out of foam core and paper mache

I used sheet music for the walls,  Brown paper bag to make the shingles on the roof.
The post card is a black and white photo of a Venetian mask.    It looks kind of tree like stuck to the back of the house.

Dimensions- H 14 x W 13 x D 9.5 cm  (H 5 1/2" x W 5 1/8" x D 3 3/4")
24  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Golden anniversary card on: January 24, 2009 05:41:25 PM
My parents have been invited to a 50th wedding anniversary party.  As my Mum is new to card making.  We both worked on this card. The design concept is mine.

25  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Pirate Puss in Boots. on: January 24, 2009 04:20:51 PM
After making 2 puss in boots for my doll clubs raffles.  I finally made a puss in boots for myself.   I entered it into a local show and he won Overall champion of dolls.

The other two puss in boots are on there own post.

All 3 were made from a pattern by Suzette Rugolo.
26  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Make over Santa Doll on: January 14, 2009 04:29:57 PM
I made a santa doll back in 2001 or 2002.  Last year I decided that I  was going to give him new clothes but  I actually didn't get around to it until New Year's Day.  The colours used in his clothes are apple green, orange, burgandy, brown, copper and pale gold.  Very Autumn-y

Here is how he looks now.

Side.  You can't see it that well but he has a long pointy hood with a tassel on the end

I was inspired by a Katherine's Collection doll 'Arancio del Padre' pictured here

This is how he looked before.
27  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / paper mache mutant pumpkin ornament on: October 18, 2008 11:38:22 PM
Inspire by spookyblue's giant mutant pumpkin tutorial, http://spookyblue.com/halloween/giant-jackolantern/index.htm
I was inspire to make my own mutant pumpkin.  I started with a brown paper mache ornament that I bought. I used paper towel, tissue paper, florist wire in the stork and masking tape. I followed spookyblue's tutorial, adjusting it for a smaller ornament.

It is not as bright orange in real life, more dirty orange.

I want this to look scary not cute.  Do you think it is scary?
28  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Good Golly Miss Molly on: October 08, 2008 03:52:38 AM
My doll club was given a whole heap of unfinished dolls. I grabbed a half stuffed doll made in black fabric.  I always wanted to make a golly doll.  I thought she would look fabulous in lime green and hot pink.

A close up of the painted face.

29  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / A Haunted House for my Halloween ATCs on: October 08, 2008 03:27:07 AM
Inspired by knickertwist's altered altoid tin, https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=271859.0
I decided to make my own haunted house to hold my Halloween ATCs.

It is made from foam core which has been paper mache'd with tissue paper and sheet music.

Do you think it is spooky?  Any suggestions to make it look more spooky?

I have notice at the last few weeks that is a lot of non craft related advertising appearing on craftster.  Most of them google adds,  But I have seen a lot of ads on computers, computer games,  Celebrity polls, a stupid What's your IQ add,  Animal rights,  weight loss,  and fitness just to name a few.

I thought the advertising on craftster was suppose to craft related.
