I love all of the crafts everyone's getting! I think the pincushion and the hat might be my favorites so far Smiley

Also, I'm with you about Knittn Kitten. That place is awesome.

My package finally caught up with me yesterday so I have the picture that was missing.
Here it is:
My favorite trio!

I would also like to say that the bag is awesome and will probably end up as my new library bag.  Wink

PS Just to double check that everyone caught it, that is the theme song on the shirt. Ah, love.

As promised, pictures of the package I got yesterday. Are you all ready? Wisting even? Here goes...

The first item is amazing because right now I'm getting degrees in theater and music and it combines the two. And I just love wearing sunshine. Check out The T-shirt.

I know what I'll be wearing to work tomorrow.

And next is the amazing mosaic! I could not believe it when I opened the package and this was inside. Everyone at my house stopped what they were doing to come look at it; this, by the way, is an incredibly impressive feat.
The full view:

And the close-ups:

She even nailed the tear!

Thank you soooooo much for my package! Cheesy I'm glad you decided to go with your inspiration.

I just got my kit and guess what! There's an animal in mine, too Cool

This kit is amazing but it was an especially cool opening experience for two reasons: 1) I purposely didn't check to see what kit I was getting before it showed up and 2) I've wanted to learn screen printing for a really long time.

Without further ado, the contents.

Here's the outside. Looks fancy, right?

The insides:

And not one, but THREE sets of instructions. I have options.

Finally, the sample is of the Wizard of Oz. Classic.

Thank you so much for my kit!

I also made a copy of my friend's favorite painting as a birthday gift. What do you think?

My mail finally caught up with me today! Here are the four I received.

"And my worst lie...I love you.      I'm a pathological liar...about the stupidest things...until I said I love you"

"I frequently wish my father was dead. I mean it every time."

"I hope you're in jail"

Tattoo says, "and this too shall pass"
"I keep trying to believe the tattoo artist didn't do this on purpose. As though '@$$' wasn't bad enough, in some shirts it says, 'hallpass.'"

Last, but certainly not least, is...FIRST TIME SWAPPER RAMONA Q!

This house is so funny. I really wish you all could see it in person.

It has an old comic about a girl named Sarah who wants to be a doctor, a bunch of beads and some of the silliest examples of letters. There're the normal "N for Needle" and "R for Radio" but then we get "L for Liquid" and a picture of "Chicken and Toast." Apparently that's a lovely meal.  Cheesy

This house also came with a note explaining all of it, a secret button, and a bookmark.

That says, "A man considers his little weaknesses amiable traits. A woman--a woman will not admit that she has a weakness." And based on their facial expressions I can totally see that.

Thank you and well done, Ramona Q.

I also received from Pseudo_pix. On the back it says it's "Asian Style."   The wood trim is made of real wood!

Here is the front:

And the back:

The third house is from MommytheMaid and says "Dream House" on the back.
Guess who's on the front! It's Barbie. Not only that, apparently it's also my aunt's Barbie.

Here's the front:

The text says "Cherish the moments."

Hey all! My mail finally caught up with me Smiley
It was like Christmas all over again! Here are the gorgeous houses I got from everyone.

The first I got was from Atsuko. It had the lyrics to Baby Mine with it. That is one of my alltime favorite songs so it was a nice suprise.

Here's the front:

I got my angel package from Windoverireland and LunaKitten today! It's fantastic and made a fantastic ending my first swap.

Without further ado, here's the loot:

The first thing I saw were these fantastically decorated letters. I even managed to figure out what they spell! Wink

They came with this fantastic bag with a quote on the back. "I am the Lorax. I speak for the trees because the trees have no voice.-Dr. Seuss"
This is fantastic because a) I love Dr Seuss and b) when I said what I would like to receive I said I would like everything to be smaller than a backpack because I move so much.

With that in mind, here are the tree plaques. They are about the size of my palm and gorgeous.

And last, but certainly not least are the tree trays. I think they might be the coolest things ever. The biggest one is about 9" long. Awesome, right?
Also...the middle one has buttons for leaves.

All that is to say, this is pretty awesome. Thanks again, ladies! Grin

Here is my wonderful package from angelcallie!

First, the

Shakespeare box! It has the perfect quote on it, too.  "Had I but followed the arts" indeed!

Here are the wonderful bookmarks she sent me. At least one of them is definitely going into use today. The others, tomorrow.

The bleached t-shirt...

...with the bard himself!

This is a great package and the first I ever received. Thank you so much!
