Its a good idea to stuff it about halfway through this step since its so small

5  The strongest Pokemon- a Mewtwo poppet in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by the Trickster on: October 01, 2010 05:12:28 PM

So I'm a huge Pokemon nerd (bet you couldn't tell haha). Anyway, this is Mewtwo, my first poppet. I had to alter the pattern a bit to get it to work, but it's based off the wonderful ghilie's poppet pattern. He's handsewn and made of purple fleece and some sort of gray fabric.

gazing at the stars lol

Recieved my package from blushingbluegrass today!

She sent me some awesome Quailman charms

A Darkwing Duck mug with the saying "I am the terror that flaps in the night! I am the rhinestone on the jumpsuit of justice!" (one of my favorite variations of his catchphrase, by the way)

And my new favorite tshirt!

Take chances, make mistakes, get messy! From The Magic School Bus!

7  J&T Challenge 2: Sunflower chocker in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by the Trickster on: June 15, 2010 11:55:18 AM
I saw this challenge and thought, "what feels like summer?" The first idea that popped into my head was "Flowers!". So, a sunflower-inspired chocker was born!

The band of the chocker is crochet, and the flower is my most recent attempt at kanzashi with a button for the center. The necklace closes with a button and is quite comfortable to wear!

8  Re: Steampunk Circus Swap in The Swap Gallery by the Trickster on: March 07, 2010 09:37:03 AM
Sorry it took so long to get these pictures up. Anyways, here is the lovely package that jiasaykea sent me!

a beautiful carousel horse plushie! the saddle is even removable!

a steampunk mask to add to my collection! one of the gears fell off, but I'm gonna glue it back on

a choker with 4 interchangable charms.

and my favorite: a beautiful binder cover. Now I need to find something to put it on, maybe a sketchbook or something. I almost don't want to use it in fear of it getting dirty, it's just so cool.

and some pretty fabric as an extra. Thanks for being such a great partner jiasaykea!

9  a Jester and an Emo Jack (1st post!) in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by the Trickster on: July 08, 2009 08:43:17 PM
So... I've been lurking here for a while, and finally decided to start posting some of the things I've made (the fact that it's the middle of the night and I'm bored probably influenced that decision).

This is Emo Jack. Made a few years ago, he's the first successful thing I ever sewed, but all he does is sit in the window and sulk. All. Day.

And Jester. He's quite a bit friendlier than Emo Jack.

They're both made out of the same old striped shirt.

Please tell me what you think!
