1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Buffy the Vampire Slayer Hat on: March 09, 2012 03:30:11 PM
It's been a while since I've done something like this. And today's a friend's birthday, and he loves Buffy. So, yesterday, I decided, "You know what? I'm gonna make a Buffy hat."

And so I did. It came from starting over, heavy drinking, and a few tears, but I'm so happy with it.

2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Hat Dump. :] (image obnoxious, plus a few more added 2/15) on: February 02, 2012 04:17:18 PM
It's bizarre to think that the last time I posted in the crochet section was when I'd just learned to crochet. So, nothing lovely. Haha

I've been taken over by hats. Lots and lots of hats. So instead of spamming the board, I thought I'd dump them all here. :]

(oh, and please excuse the logo, pulling straight from Facebook)

 Thanks for looking!
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / my first baby blanket. on: August 14, 2010 01:59:08 PM
Hello! It's been a really long time since I've been there. Have some things to clear up, but I wanted to share photos of some of my recent projects.

It's a fairly easy pattern, but it works fantastically well and E really seems to love it.

4  COOKING / Dessert / Chocolate Chip Cookie Cupcakes on: July 13, 2009 03:24:08 PM
I think I'm losing it, really.
I was bored today, so I thought that I would go and make some homemade chocolate chip cookies. So, I made homemade chocolate chip cookies.

But, they looked lonely, so I decided to make chocolate chip cupcakes.
But once they were done, I decided to make a super awesome union, and I got these:

They're chocolate chip cupcakes, cream cheese frosting, and a chocolate chip cookie for good measure.
C&C loved, as always. :]
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Towel Tote on: July 12, 2009 12:01:13 PM
I don't think I've ever posted in this particular section before...

Anyway! I made this tote bag for my partner in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy swap. I really liked how it turned out, so I decided I should share with you. :]

I used one of those really super big bath towels and some lining fabric. The letters are iron on, since I can't embroider and don't have the machine to do it for me. lol

lining fabric.
(with marvin in it, lol)
bottom of the bag.

Thanks for looking!
Comments are welcome. :] I'd love to hear what you think.
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Marvin Bracelet on: July 12, 2009 11:52:23 AM
First time poster in this particular section. >.>

Anyway, my stepmother makes a lot of jewelry, so when I decided I wanted to make a bracelet for my swap partner in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy swap, she showed me how I could accomplish that.
And I'm damn proud of it. :]

So, I give you, the Marvin bracelet. :]

thanks for looking!
c&c welcome. :]
7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Marvin Inspired Hat on: July 12, 2009 11:47:53 AM
This was one of two hats I created for the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy swap. And this is definitely my favorite of the two. I had a really, really hard time giving it away. So I'm nearly done with one for myself, too. :]

8  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / A Hat for a Boy on: July 12, 2009 11:44:46 AM
Wow, I can't believe how weirdly difficult crocheting for a boy is. Anyway, I believe I succeeded, and I enjoyed it.
Made for the Hitchhiker's Guide swap. :] Inspired by Marvin.

9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Marvin the Paranoid Android on: July 12, 2009 11:40:39 AM
I made this little guy for the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Swap, and ended up loving him a lot. And, now that his new owner has received him, it's safe to post photos.
He took me about 4 hours, on and off.

10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Ruggles Scarf for my Stepmother on: July 12, 2009 10:59:18 AM
Now, I must warn you.
Photos in this post may cause you to snort and giggle something terrible. So put the drink down unless you want it to come out your nose.  Tongue

My stepmother bought the yarn for this scarf, but she didn't really buy a lot of it. So I knit it up on 9's, and hoped for the best. I'm fairly happy with the outcome.

Modeled by my dad. Cheesy
