35  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / Reversible Car Seat Canopy on: May 12, 2017 11:43:18 AM
I made this car seat canopy for my friend who is having a little boy at the end of the month. I wasn't sure which fabric she would like the best, so I made it reversible.

It seems that there are lots of babies being born this year, and while sometime a lightweight burp cloth is all you need, other times it just doesn't cut it. So I made these using Gerber Prefold cloth diapers. The three in the first 2 pictures I gave to my friend who is having a little boy any day now.  I'm keeping the bottom 7 for myself.

My 5 year old has been begging me to use the "spiky board" aka blending board, so the other day we got it out and then dug through my odds and ends of fiber.

With her help I came up with these:

When I first looked at the green I didn't really like it, but I love how these rolags turned out.

I don't know if this would work, but could you somehow sew in up using thread that matches her hair color?

So cute. I love how you modified the pattern. Her patterns are so fun.
