And thanks Karin_ ive checked out the made stamps section... very inspiring!  Ive just been using cheap rubbers (sorry erasers) but i think ill invest in the more expensive stuff and dabble a little more!  Cheesy  Uh oh more excuse to spend money... like i need it  Tongue

Hi guys, im quite new to Craftster, and ive finally bitten the bullet and decided to post a finished object up here... i hope you like it!

Ive made it for my stitch and bitch group here in Tokyo, as we are having a (late - due to many people returning home for the holidays) secret santa.

I made the stamps i used for the back (my initials) and the heart, star and cupcake from erasers cut with a craft knife... (a japanese friend told me about this craft - very cool, and easy to try!).... The pearl bead is used as a button with plaited embroidery thread as a hook to keep the book closed.
