1  Re: Sweat Shoppe Swap Round 27 (signup CLOSED, green by 12/1, sendout by 12/5) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by craftycakelady on: November 14, 2011 07:53:16 PM
So, I've been trying to add pics for about an hour now... why are computers always ornery when you're on a deadline?  LOL

Here goes, hoping it works!

Scrabble tile pendants.  I will add the dimensional glaze to the top but I was afraid it wouldn't dry in time to post pics and be clear.  There's blue, green, red, green butterfly and brown swirls

Here are the dish mats, I hope you can see the prints.  I haven't quilted them yet just wanted ya'll to get a peek so you could make a request.  They will be nice and neat when done!  Smiley

Hope you see something you like!

Hi all!  Here are examples of the items I am offering for this swap.

Domino Pendant:

Coordinating purse accessories:

ETA: purse accessory set includes a zippy pouch, card wallet and snap wallet.

All of the projects posted are so beautiful!  I just finished up mid-terms so I will be more visible in the forum now.  I'm looking forward to spring break so I can craft!  Grin

3  PBW Recycle Purse Challenge: Holey Jeans in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by craftycakelady on: August 10, 2010 06:12:12 PM
Hi all!  This is my first challenge and my first time uploading pics so bear with me.
This is a purse that I made from my sons old jeans.  He is constantly wearing a hole in them and I hate to pitch them so I'm glad to have a found a use for these.  He is very proud of the fact that I recycled his jeans, LOL.  The lining is some scrap fabric I had laying around, I also had leftover interfacing so the only things I bought were thread (darn, I ran out just as I wound the bobbin), and the magnetic snap.  The button detail is from an old, but expertly tailored suit jacket, I found at Goodwill.  Sorry, I didn't think to use them until the last minute so there is not picture of it.

Re-purposing items is harder than it looks, kudos to those of you who do it all the time.  On to the pics, hope they work.

Thanks for looking!
